Forge hub, this is my first post. i hope you enjoy my maps to come, but now i'm gonna show you my map. Forceforce is a symmetrical map with the mlg feel. although force is not for mlg it still is competitve enough for those kinds of players. I took the time in force to geomerge as much as i could to make gameplay as smooth as possible. The layout of force is( like mlg )with a central structure and two side bases. one of the side bases is low ground with a sniper, and the other is high ground with a bubble. to make it easier to travel the map i added a teleporter system ( a two way teleporter ) under each high corner.force is made for multi flag and territorys. there is only one way to higher ground which is a grav/elevater. if this sounds confusing plz look at the screenshots under this weapon list Weapons (type, clip, spawn)br x10 l 1 l 45 carbine x 2 l 2 l 30 sniper x 1 l 2 l 180 rocket x 1 l 1 l 180 mauler x 2 l 1 l 120 regen x 2 l n/a l 60 bubble x 1 l n/a l 60 camo x 1 l n/a l 120 frag x 8 l n/a l 20-45 plasma x 4 l n/a l 30Over view screenshots Spawns (starting) Sections of map with nick names Plank with bubble, Grav elevater in single box open Pin wheel with rockets Sniper spawn Mauler with tele behind wall Lower base with regen Conclusionthis map has 20 geo merges and many details like the flag out side the map this map has hours of testing there is no spawn killing and no flaws, i took extra time into making this flawless. enjoy here are the links map multiflag brs 5 plot brs land grab brs if you call the middle a swatsica youll get bad rep and get reported, i didnt mean for it to look like that
The middle piece is very aesthetically pleasing, but the rest of the map is very open try to close this in to make it better.
yeah it doez i was aiming at a pinwheel so yeah i hope i didnt cross the line i was hoping that no one would notice
Hey, great first post. Otherwise, this map needs way more cover on the first level of the map and it would be a great and very clean map. The only thing this reminds me of is MLG Amps center piece. It's 1 story high. Being 1 story high can highly effect the gameplay IMO because without it being high or blocking out sight from the rest of the map, it's like you're always being constantly BRed by 4 people. I suggest raising that, along with the cover and then I'll download for sure and play it with some of my friends. Good plan, nice basic and geometry merging. I'll hope to see more maps from you with maybe those thoughts in mind. 3/5. EDIT: Sorry, didn't know you were at your item limit, I'll D/L it right now and try it out. Hey Nemi, someone made you a map!!! lol jk, but the center piece is very appealing. Although it does resemble a swastika. Seeing as this is your first map post on ForgeHub, I'd have to say it's very nice. The interlocking is clean, and the geomerging is straight. I'm guessing you come here often? Well, anyways, excellent map. And welcome to ForgeHub.
I have to agree it does look a little like swastika. Anyway, the map looks pretty cool and fun to play on. 4/5 Although, it could do with a little more cover
woopie! its about time. very nice interlocking, and the geomerging into the wall is very nice, and shows good devotion to your work. this looks pretty nice. i think the recommendations i gave you balanced it out to a decent level, and you said youve playtested it much. good job just a recommendation, id give a picture or too of those open double boxes in the back, and the nice window panel ledges you got there.
no, thats cool, i really didnt do much. all i gave were pointers on the sniper and rocket spawn, and i think the bubble shield? maybe, but not really much.
hey jeef, i see you finnally posted this, i had fun playing 4v4 slayer on it with you, gameplay flowed nicely. I like the middle pin wheel thing, and i like the different elevated surfaces, good job on your first post.
Jeff Jeff Jeff! Im very pleased you got this to work ! Your map is just plain sexy. The gameplay is great! You have the map perfectly balanced for both teams. Its a great map. I will do a in depth review at a later date.. Oh yeah and I found a Swastika
i think i told you jeef that it lookes like that the first time i played a game on this map lolz, but it is a good center piece for the map
Lol we get it LOLOL THE MIDDLE IS A SWASTIKA HAHAHA XD !!!1! Anyway, the map looks very well constructed. Uber props for your excellent gemoerging and interlocking. No more lost nades! Anyway, yeah I'm gonna have to agree with everyone on the lack of cover thing. Trust me, I am no stranger to the item limit of death, but it looks like there's some places where you could have moved stuff or elevated stuff for a bit mroe protection. EXCELLENT for a first map though 4/5
its basically the best first post ever, but it does seem a little open, and the thing in the middle does look like a swastika, i hope that was on accident. still really good 5/5. and i don't give that often.
