    Red vs Blue
    Created by Iztiak

    Supported Gametypes:
    Team Slayer
    Team King
    Capture the Flag
    Team Oddball
    Assault

    Map Description
Red vs Blue, as the name suggests, is a two base map on foundry.
This is my first, and only attempt at making a map.

For more details, please look at the screenshots below, and try it out for yourself.

Interesting feature: 2 teleportal doors leading towards the back of the map.

I'd like to improve my map, and my forging skills, so any constructive criticism is appreciated. But be sure to include some stuff that you liked about it, if there are any, less I get discouraged. ;)

Oh, keep in mind, I only learned how to merge objects when I was almost done, so some of it isn't merged.

    Thanks in advance.

This looks pretty good for little interlocking. It seems like a lot of things are very straight. I would definitely remake this with a lot of interlocking. BTW I see you are using the avatar I made you NarutoHaloFan13. lol

Its a little too open so I would add aesthetics to the open spaces and make it more neat. 2/5

Out of money you say... Follow this and get unlimited money maps... And start using them too.
    http://www.forgehub.com/forum/forging-101/2101-unlimited-budget-glitch.html

Your map has flaws, and there are both minor and large flaws. The first mistake would be warthogs... You can not begin to imagine the countless amount of maps that have been destroyed because of vehicles. Bungie should not even have so many vehicles for the map but I guess some good maps do have vehicles.

In my opinion the Warthogs allow camping, you might have designed the map so the warthogs would go to the man cannons, but no one is forced to do this. Warthogs allow camping and annihilation of infantry. Which is basically slaughter. I recommend giving the map a better description. Add a weapons list. For now I will pretend that there are no heavy weapons to counter the warthogs. Don't say that infantry can use there pathetic assault rifles against an armor warthog... It will take a **** load of ammo to bring it down. Don't say that the other warthog will make a good counter either... Once one is destroyed there will be one left.

Interlocking is good, but the fact that you used that many fence boxes is disgusting... Fence boxes are not good Aesthetics if used incorrectly... Just like a double box, if you put it face front it looks like crap upside down is the opposite. I suggest removing them or fixing them up.

I hope this review helps you with your other maps and threads.

how come a few pics have the boxes right-side up, and the other pics of the same area have them upside down? different versions? might wanna change the pics. and also, i'm not sure if you're aware of the "Red vs. Blue" machinima series, but if you name your map that, people might think they're associated.

neagtives out of the way, i do like the look of the map. the bases seem interesting, and the layout looks balanced. good job overall

This map looks well made, but the overabundance of Fence items makes it seem a little too open, and thats not very good when there are two warthogs in the map. Everything looks pretty neat though, and the little bit of interlocking there is is actually quite good. The flow of the map is nice, and the middle area looks like it would be the main battle area. Well done, 4/5. Good first map, and also, Welcome to Forgehub! Also, its nice that you posted up to standards on your first post; most people don't do that.

Edit: Also, you might want to change the title, because there are lots of maps named Red vs. Blue, and it also references the machinima, which this has nothing to do with.

I appreciate the reference. I will endeavor to use that canvas if I ever attempt another map.

Since there are 3 spawn points at the top, no major weapon spawns, and the warthog cannot shoot at an angle, camping there would serve no purpose except on capture the flag. At least, no purpose that I can see. In any of the games I've played on it, (Admittedly, not very many) nobody has really tried camping there for very long.

However, I will take your advice into account, if I ever make a second version of this. I'm not sure what I'll do, but I'll change it.

Where the heck did this come from? It sounds like some infantile rant against people who've used this argument against you, and doesn't really belong in a review that is meant to be helpful. I've made no mention of assault rifles being a counter against a warthog, or any other vehicle, for that matter. Only an idiot would think that.

I am not an idiot, and I suggest that you don't think of me as such.

Your review was helpful, but it seemed to have a rather hostile note to it, as if you expect anyone new to be an absolute moron...

I'm not sure why I put that up. I suppose I just liked the angle, and there's no real difference except the interlocks. I'll remove it. I interlocked the path after Debo37 showed me how to merge objects.

Weapons list: (Best I can recall from memory)

1 Rocket Launcher. (Center, 2 shots, 120 second respawn)
2 Maulers. (Bottom Floor, 5 shots each, respawn time ??)
4 BR's. (2 on each base, top floor and bottom.)
2 Needlers. (Middle floor near stairs, either base, 90 second respawn?)
1 Sniper Rifle (In tower, default ammo, 120 sec respawn)
2 Sniper Rifles (Hidden above Maulers- requires grenade jump, 4 shots each, respawn time ??)

That is all I can recall right off. Not including grenades either.

All feedback was helpful, and I appreciate it. I just don't have time to respond to all of it.
