    Hi,

I wanted to know if anyone knows of some really good tutorials for signatures that you can make in PS CS3. I am pretty good (moderate or higher skilled at sigs) sigs.

I want to know this so I can get ready to open my sig shoppe soon.

All aspects of signatures that you can give me tutorials on I would be very grateful.

    Thanks,
    HomieG54

I'm a member of that site and I use their tutorials. But thanks for the recommendation.

    @Vinny: What's 22flock?

You shouldn't use signature tutorials because then you only learn to create an effect that fits with the atmosphere of the signature in the tutorial. You should instead just read tutorials for effects so you can learn to apply them in any signature and to make them look good.

22flock is basically the last resource you'll ever need.

It's a pack that will install itself into the program folder of Adobe Photoshop.

It contains hundreds of fonts, textures, brushes and everything you'll ever need.

i know what you mean. I just see what people do to make different effects on their sigs and apply that to the sig i am making.

Well, you specifically asked for "tutorials for signatures."

And about that pack mentioned by someone else earlier, it's not really a good idea to download it. Brush packs are fine and fonts are obviously a necessity, but textures? You really should be learning to create your own. I don't think downloading a texture pack is starting out on the right foot.

The textures are just there when you need them.

Theres a lot of images that you could convert to textures anyway. This is just setting you on the right foot, and giving you something to start with.

For starters, experiment to find out what you can get from the "Layer > New Adjustment Layer" menu, the Filters menu, and the Blending Options menu.

Tutorials are good for introducing you to new tools or effects, but experimenting and learning to use them effectively is 90% of it.

    Just don't color clash.

    Keep a one way flow.

    You're good to go.

I don't know if I'm the only one who noticed this but it's actually Planetrenders.net
    Sorry, it bothered me.

Also, good-tutorials.com has some good tutorials... not meant to be a pun. I also slightly use psdtuts.com, tutorial9.net, sigtutorials.com, and I've actually been looking at deviantart.com. Sometimes it's hard to find a good tutorial on there, but when you do you use it a lot. Anyways, good luck on getting better. I actually got a CS3 book recently that has been a lot of help. If you need signature tutorials then look on the web. Buying a book that helps overall in CS3 won't help you specifically in signatures.
