Odeum Created by N1NJ4 Gametypes Supported: All Gametypes Recommended Players: 2-4 Odeum, a map inspired by Halo: CE map Longest, will instill a great feeling of nostalgia amongst many avid Halo players. With its symmetrical dual halls, and perfectly balanced weapon placement, Odeum allows players to relive the gameplay that Longest offered, along with many new experiences that could not be replicated in most foundry maps. The map is completely enclosed, with well placed call-out markers, and interesting geometry such as the "Shotgun Cubbie" whilst still feeling a lot larger than the map actually is. Odeum lends itself to competitive play, and is a host for many great 1v1 and 2v2 matches, allowing players to use a wide range of skills to dominate their opponent as well as allowing players to experience all styles of play, from long range battle rifle fights down the maps hallways, to the short range shotgun duals near the centre of the map. Sick it got Featured ninja is gonna be happy told you ninja your maps dont go unnoticed this is a awsome map i had a couple games on it and its really fun great job i love it. it has such great potential and such fun gameplay the best part of this map is probly the middle cause thats where the most epic fight scenes were found alot fun playin this map even tho i only have played it twice =P grats on it once again. also loved the lift going to those perches the cannons look cool crossed like that and adds some interesting gameplay. along with the bridge interlocked on both sides i thought that was neat.
i never really bothered to check this one out, and maybe i should have. It must have some awesome gameplay. Im going to download this and check it out with some friends. Congrats to the creator.
Longest was like my favorite map in Halo 2. lol. I'll download it for sure, check it out and stuff. Cool that it got featured.

Looks like it could provide some different style of gameplay for a change. But it does look a bit plain in the last two pictures. I think I would get bored after a couple games. Interesting map though.
I played played with some friends on this map for 3 HOURS!!!!!!!! It's so awesome, never ending fun, just don't put like 5 vs 3, or it all goes bad. 5/5 for this map
I remember this map from maybe a month ago. Congrats on the feature, Ninja, and keep up the good work. This defintely is a remake of Longest, I'm sure everyone will see the beauty of it all.

Halo 2 never had a map named Longest. I should know I played Halo 2 for like 2 Years and I was gonna enter MLG but we lost a member from the team. Then I started modding. Then Halo 3 came out and I stopped modding and started Forging. I never played Halo CE but maybe Longest was a halo CE map.
well forgehubs resident helpful ninja finally procures a feature. bbully for you my friend. this map is as smooth as a peice of ice and the cleverness of the techn iques you used is impecable. wonderful job and my personal favorite is the interlocked mancannons that are placed in such a manner as to create a lift. once again excellent job and i implore you to grace us with more maps of this high quality
