I was making an Infection map when I spawned a faint blue double box... I asked my friend about it and he said he heard of a guy that made a warthog that was blue... I have also seen this in a map on Avalanche named "Air Raid" with a blue wall. Just in case you think that it's the lighting that made it blue on Avalanche, my Infection map was on Foundry. Has anyone else experienced this and knows why this happens and/or how to do this?
I would have to think its a certain place on a map that makes a tint on an object, i've seen this on an MLG map on Foundry.
I will further test this. Was the blue item by chance near the cage surrounding the pipes on the main field part?
One was like, 8ft off the ground and a Fence box away from the center piece on foundry. Red appeared on the right side (facing), blue appeared on the left.
This is just a lighting glitch in some maps. It happens in certain spots on the map. It's pretty old news though.
The most common one is Black. Anything you put into the Shadow Point instantly turns black. Black Mongoose
Yes, this is simply just an effect that the lighting on a map has on forge items. It can be useful when making a map with a red and blue base, but it can aslo be quite frustrating ( ex - When a box turns black, but the others aren't).
Update: My friend was forging today and he got 2 blue bridges in Foundry... I think it is the lighting, and I will try to locate where it turns blue and if it stays blue when you move it.
alot of times,when i make a map, then play on it on local mathces, the walls are all a shiny silver color... idk what thats about though.
This happened to me both when I made SpaceAge and Code Impulse. Its cretain spots on the map that glitches the object cover when it first spons. You can't plan or expect it though. I have never played on a map that had it though...
I mean this has happened to me sometimes before, although I really don't think of it too cool. You can see it on alot of dimply lit spaces on a map...
actually ya, on foundry if your facing the wall that splits foundry and your in the open p[art of foundry, put a double box or fence box on the right side of the split , it will glow blue. i call it the HOLY BOX.
yes this happens at a few places on foundry and other maps. it is just lighting effects made by bungie. and no, it does not stay blue when you move it. it is just those few spots, where the sun is and also a few glitchy places.
lol one time i put 3 doors sideways where the window panels are normally on regular foundry and 1 door was slightly green another not really blue and the last was normal. it was really weird! lol
