Just debunking some silly Vista Myths; Why does everyone think you need an expensive super fast computer to run Vista? The only other thing I have is a 4GB Flash Drive plugged using Vista's Ready Boost feature. My laptop runs perfectly smoothly...
Nice one, Sushi. Reyn, how do you get the side view of the Deskspace thing, I've tried and failed so many times.
Cool Reybow's using Safari! I love that, cuz it resembles OS X and it's the only thing I use for the internet on my other computer (A PC).
No it's Firefox, you can even see the Firefox logo There is nothing good about Safari, infact it's the worst browser out of all the browser. It looks shiny though. Here's the proof that Safari can slow your computer down up to as much as 76% Also about the picture of the cube at an angle, I just move it to the angle I want and press Print Screen. You will have to change a few of the default settings to make it so the cube doesn't flick back to the straight on view when you're not touching the mouse. Here are my settings. [I find Ctrl+Win key easiest]
I thought you were using FF, too. stoopid gws Anyway, thanks Reyn, I'll do that when I upload my next desktop. and lul at GWS thinking Safari is the best. (BTW if you have FireFox, get Fasterfox...I'm trying to find it again but I had it with FF2.) + Reyn I have that theme/skin for FF too. iFox smoooth.
I'm starting to think your constant talk about how much Mac is great is compensation for a slight disappointment you might be feeling with it. Sure I want to own I Mac, I think it would be awesome as well. But I would never own a Mac without also owned a PC. Firefox is good on every computer, but it depends how good the computer is. Safari is not good on any computer, no matter what computer. It will slow your computer down, much more then Firefox. I want to like Safari, I have tried using it twice before. It just doesn't work as smoothly as Firefox and there are just not enough extensions for it like there is for Firefox.
On PC I have no doubt that you're right that Safari sucks. But I have both FF3 and Safari on my mac, and Safari is better in every way. It loads up faster when you start it, loads pages faster, never stalls for me (FF locks up from time to time) and is generally more seamless. On PC FF is definitely the way to go, but Safari for mac really is the best browser I've ever used, and I was a hardcore PC addict up until about a year ago.
You win, good sir. I love you. I agree, on the Mac, Safari's winly. FF keeps stalling and locking up on me, not even letting me edit posts. Safari's much better. Faster, etc.
