I present to you a new game to add to the sports section of halo 3 FLAG WARZ MAP DOWNLOAD here GAMETYPE DOWNLOAD here GAME DESCRIPTION: Im sure atleast half of you guys have played the game flag wars in halo 2 well ever since halo 3 came out me and my clan have been hoping they would put it in halo 3 but they didn't so after some months of waiting i decided to make flag warz instead of waiting anymore. so i looked over the maps i had to use and i thought foundry was the best capable so i looked over some other sports grifball tnt pollo and i thought the grifball style court would be most appropiate so i made the wall as perfect as i could then added some stairs as some obstacles the game type has grifball weapons hammer/sword but they flag carrier has 3x oversheilds and 125% speed and 50% gravity the base players have normal speed and jumping when you pick up the flag on either team you turn yellow and have a waypoint above you. you score the flag on the apposing teams side to make it slightly harder both flags start out in the middle and theres 5 rounds 1 capture per round this game is very challenging and will test how good you are at teamwork. like the feel of grifball to it. i like the idea, and the barriers (or walls) are neatly placed, but what is with the stairs near the big wall. anyway, 5/5
Too bad about not having the neutral flag option anymore, because a very big problem I see is that even if the opposing team grabs your flag to score, you can still grab theirs and score.
it's like grifball except you have to worry about the opposing team's flag carrier and protecting yours at the same time. and best of all, it's simple, yet a tad more complicated than grifball. BTW nice geomerged bridges
actually thats where the teamwork comes in some of you get the flag and some stop the other team from scoring its a very hard game
This map isn't really what you call original... It's basically grifball with a flag and stairs. The staris aren't really close to eachother either. Sorry but there's nothing really interesting to say - it's been made before and I think the rounds will be over too quickly sorry.
Too many spinoffs of grifball have been made, and in retrospect, grifball was anything special to begin with. Anyone could have thought to have neutral assault with no cover whatsoever and melee weapons. I certainly don't think that it measures up to other custom games that have been made. Just look at zombies from halo 2, it was so popular it became an official gametype in halo 3. So ok, you made a spinoff, I don't blame you, but it's been done too many times for me.
they took it out because it was basically the same thing as assault but with a flag, so they found it pointless anyway... grifflag??? ive seen this sort of thing done alot
Rofl i made somthing like this before when i was bored. i took the griffball arena, then Made it CTF, you start at the enemys base, the flag is in the middle, and you got to get it to the other side (Your base). Then people would say "This is just Griffball!" and i would say "No, Griffball is assualt." XD its so much fun bein an idiot As for this, it looks ok, Im not going to say its like griffball, because, well this is CTF. Great job!
huh.. cool idea. i think this would work on a bigger level with more people.. i wouldnt know i have never played flag wars. maybe il try something like that.. idk. but good concept.. and just ignore them about all that copying stuff
