Has anyone else noticed this weeks bungie favorites? All the maps look like they took thirteen minutes to make! forgive me if this is some special theme week or from the lazy map makers contest but I've seen maps a million times better over here at forgehub! How come none of use ever get on bungie favorites huh? (Not entirely true, but you get my point). Some of these maps still hold up there objects with teleporters (ON Foundry) does bungie think simple maps are better? Give me your opinion. This just in: from rusty eagle Oh thats bad..
Remember that Bungie has allowed Halo-affiliated websites to post there favorites and these go on bungie's favorites. Bungie does not choose them, it's not there fault. The community complained so much about the favorites that Bungie let the community handle it and see how bad it is?
i always hate the maps most dont use and advanced techniques and what is up with every other week it is damn halotrack pics are good some timesthis weeks suck though there is one of a guy throwing a spike gernade
I don't get it It's like they pick the most average maps they can find. I think sadly, Bungie Favorites might be on auto pilot. A computer system simply keeping track of downloads and automatically posting the most downloaded to Favorites. I refuse to think anyone at Bungie looks at any of these maps before posting them.
Actually, that was the old system. And that system was total ****ing bullshit. One guy got a BF for this image of him shooting a Spartan Laser. The new system helps show off the fan communities better. I for one had never even heard of Halo Tracks until they were Favorites.
Thats a good point, but I wish bungie would run a test through the maps or anything else on bungie favorites.
It's a halo school, but they don't teach forge. Hey does forgehub have it's own group? I'm pretty sure if we did we could pick them. Heck we could vote for the maps out of the BoF competition. We also got good picks. But I'm not sayin g this weeks was bad out of forgehub preference. This weeks maps reaked.
Bungie may chose which affiliated site gets on Favorites, but they need to see what the content is, and if it's worthy. If you go to Bungie.net and check the favorites, most of them are 3 stars and below. Bungie made a mistake in chosing this affiliate. And does anyone actually know which site this content came from? I think they're hiding it, because they would get so many new users just to diss them.
Well i think it was a good choice from Bungie to let the community choose as they were complaining but they should check before they go on bungie favourites .. Or you can just get the featured maps from forgehub on bungie favourites .. They are so much better!
ForgeHub has already had it's own spot on Bungie Favorites. Bungie Favs got the best maps it'll ever showcase during this time, unless of course ForgeHub gets on BF again.
Bungie should give the favorites to the pros. Those other fan sites can have screens and movies. We can take maps and gametypes. And maybe HaloTracks can have once in a while.
