The track looks great. I really like the bridge part, but other areas I can see as being a problem. 4.5/5
bro this is almost perfec, the racetrack looks real fun, it seems difficult but fair, and some of the best curved hills ive ever seen, 5/5 and a download.
To start things off, I'd like to note how extraordinary the interlocking on the backbone and the two turns. The exit tunnel was cool with the doors, which added a nice touch of difficulty and innovation, as did the backbone. Despite of all of this, I do have my complaints... additional scenery for guidance would be a welcomed addition, like teleporter nodes pointing the way. Above that, a smoother ending jump would be nice. Thats all thats holding back this racetrack from a 5. Until thats fixed: 4/5
Can you elaborate on this? I am open to criticism about my maps, but this is kind of vague. If you are going to offer feedback, I ask that you please be specific, so I can address the problem. Exactly what doesn't do a good job of keeping you on the track. Not enough borders? You don't like that I didn't border off the back area? Thanks for the comments though. Just in case you guys didn't notice, I try to make a different style maps every time forge a track. I know some people won't like certain aspects of the map, but others will love it. In either case, I like you guys voicing your comments because I do incorporate them in my maps.
This map is so awesome. The interlocking is perfect and the Devil's back bone is pure ownage. The only part I didn't think was perfect was the pallets to get you up on the bridge and the doors in the tunnel because you may hit them and get stuck.
Racetrack mapmakers prefer to use pallets to help push mongeese onto certain sections because it's easier than trying to interlock a bridge into the ground (looks like he might have run out of bridges too). The doors were there to make it difficult. It's more of a "competitive" racetrack and he wanted it to be harder to race on if you didn't know what you were doing. That's why you have to practice. Good job on the map. I'd love to download it (your racetracks are awesome btw) but my window's live ID got screwed up and I don't know how to fix it (I'm working on it, I need a new idea, or a new account I think).
Thanks for all the feedback. Yes, I did run out of bridges. I started from the top down, so I had to keep taking a few from the top to get it closer to the ground. If you can download it from bunige, just look on my fileshare in the game if you want it. Thanks for the compliments on my racetracks too.
Thanks for all the positive feedback on the map. Everything about the map is designed specifically for a reason. I can make a really smooth map that you don't feel a thing, but those are no fun to me. I like to feel the suspension in the mongoose and get big air. I have designed all my maps to be different from one another. Sorry if you don't like a particular section of the track, but that is they way I designed it. I am sure you can find a track that you do like from the few I have made. Just check them out, the links are in my sigs.
