Welcome to my Three Hole Destruction Derby Map. Before I begin, you should know that this map requires my Bumper Car Gametype here. You can always change around the settings, but this is recommended...Also, this is my second post, my first was Zak's Bowling-Rethought and Redone. So far it has 240+downloads. My map uses a unique layout of a very large platform at the top of the map, and three small holes just big enough for someone to push you through, or for a mongoose, just simply fall through. My map is unique because of the three holes that seem to help people find themselves in precarious situtaions teetering too close for comfort begging the fellow drivers to spare them and help push them out. There is 6 warhogs and 6 mongooses, so limit the party to a minimum of 12 people. In the Hill Traits:Invulnurable,Slow, No Grenades and Shotguns (I'll explain why later) Out of the Hill Traits: Same, but regular shields The reasons for: Shotguns: Shotguns can be used to throw a warthog of tilter. But will not completly throw them out of comtrol like a sword or hammer would. Regular Shields at the bottom:If the last two people happen to fall of at the same time, the only way for the new round to start is for the two to fight to the death, this is also why you have shotguns. EDIT: I have gotten alot of questions asking how you get back up if you fall off. The answer is that you don't it is a King of the Hill Game set for 1 second so if everyone falls off but one person, the person still there is uncontested and wins. Unfortuantly, due to the hight of the map I can't give you an accurate overview so here's one from the side and the bottom. I can assure you though that it is perfectly smooth and interlocked. Ooh bumper cars, that's a cool idea for a map. Good concept and nice excecution- 5/5 for a mini game.
Two people posting the same message? Come on guys, lighten up. He requested that you not post for two minutes, and you couldn't even oblige him that? I've actually played this map, and I will say that your harping on him for misposting his map severely discredits what is a truly fun and amusing minigame. In fact, your posts are upsetting me, because I was looking forward to the thread, only to find it riddled with people telling my good friend Zach that he doesn't know how to post a map. It's absurd to say such things, because earlier today when Zach invited a bunch of us in to test the map, we actually got into discussion about how many new maps were being posted by n00bs who didn't know to post pictures in their threads lately. DarkStar, your post is nothing more than a simple piece of one-line bs that I consider to be on a par with spamming to increase post count. stouf761, clearly you didn't look at his post, otherwise you would've seen the request to not post for two minutes, and if you were anything of a decent forummite would have abided that request. Ace of Light, was that really necessary? I mean, come on. I could've sworn that there was an announcement or something against that posted not too long ago... That said, I look forward to when you've actually posted your map, Zach, so that I can download and fully enjoy it.
The map looks like a lot of fun, it's similar to other maps I've seen but it is really cleanly made and looks nice. Good job on the map.
Umm, actually he edited it to say wait for 2 minutes, i posted before he said that, then i edited to acknowledge it. Dont ignorantly flame. This map looks quite fun, sadly im going to bed so ill play it tommorow. Its also very well made, the holes look lined up, event, and congruent. The floor itself is looks great in the interlocking aspect. Sadly the computer im on is low graphic quality, so i cant really see the pictures of whats below the boxes... TOMMOROW I WILL BE MORE DETAILED
Looks like a fun game... Lol mini games seem to be falling into a rut They're all about not falling on to the bottom of Foundry lately XD But seriously, nice idea, if not the most original thing in the universe. I'll be sure to DL and try it out. 3.5/5
Looks great. good job. But maybe interlock bridges at the side at about a 45 (or less) degree angle so they can be pushed of the edge, but its kinda hard to just slide right off
I waited for you to finish because jpec07 scared me with his message... It looks fun but also boring, if you fall off what happens, and wouldn't that make it boring. and how long is a match.
i not only enjoy seeing people like Jpec stand up for their freinds, but i love destrution derby maps! and this looks like one of the more well made maps! congrats zach, i will download now and play tomorrow
this is a really nice map i would add a wall around the top part so then you can only go throught the holes
I kinda wanted to not put up walls around the side just because that makes it too hard for people to fall off.
