Well of course it's an opinion. What else would it be? A fact? =p

It's nice to see you said you're unimpressed by him and not just saying he's overrated because he's so popular now (though I still question if you've actually seen all the movies I stated). I'm interested to see what actors do impress you, but of course don't say them in here since then we'll go way off topic. ;)

And I agree. Depp was and still not my first choice to play Riddler (I see him more of the Mad Hatter if anything...which ironically he might be playing in Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland"). But if he was choosen to play Riddler, I wouldn't mind at all because I know he'll do well.

Well I just recently saw the movie even though its been out forever (I was in Europe when it came out and flew from Rome, Italy to Cincinnati, Ohio-landed at 3:30 and saw the movie at 9:45, so I think that makes up for it).

    My favorite things:

Ledger licking his lips. I dunno why. It just added to the creepiness.
The changing of the story of how the Joker's face got that way.
The beginning bank robbery and how the Joker told everyone to kill each other.
The subtle similarities between the first Joker movie (when Batman charges at the Joker with the bike but ends up crashing, in the first joker Batman charges at him in the plane but ends up crashing. The Joker's run ended at the top of a tall building- or did it?)

Overrated was the onyl word I could think of. Depp is an amazing actor but I just dont match him up with Nolan's style of Batman.
I have seen a fair amount of Depp's movies, he is an outstanding actor.

And they have to be European actors? Heath Ledger is Australian, Michael Caine is Australian.

Forget Bale, it was Mr. Ledger who stole the show. His performance was one of the best I have seen in a long tme.

THat's probably because you dont know anything about the batman storyline. Going into it, I knew Harvey Dent would eventually become two face.

Same here but theres a huge difference between a guy with a half normal half blue face in a cartoon to a chared, exposed innards and teeth/muscle guy in live action.no?
It was definately creepy but thats the effect they wanted and it was achieved

Yeah it was done much better than how it was in Batman Forever with Tommy Lee Jones.
His was more just a half purple leathery face, whereas Aaron Eckhart's Two-Face actually looked damaged and real.

First off, it was a joke.

Second off, let me name the European actors in the series. Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Liam Neeson, Cillian Murphy, and Tom Wilkinson (probably forgetting someone...).

Oh and Michael Caine is European. He's from England. Is that not in Europe? ;)

I just watched on the 6 story tall IMAX. It was so epic. During the scenes where they would sweep over the city with the camera, it was like you were there.

Doesn't have one anymore? So you had one and it got demolished? Wow, that really does suck.

My city is home to a 21-screen theater with an IMAX. I didn't see TDK in IMAX, but recently I had the pleasure of watching I Am Legend on the big screen. Now that was an adrenaline rush.

The Dark Knight is an excellent movie.
Throughout the entire film my body was trembling because of the anticipation for what would happen next.
I'm not lying either, this film is a masterpiece, and as soon as hits Blu-Ray I'll drop $30 on it and watch it on my 60".

It's a shame that some of the reviews are saying this movie isn't that good.
Take a look at Metacritic.com and scroll down until you see the critics reviews.
The ones at the bottom are lies.

i was doing the exact same thing. when the two ships were wired to blow up with the controllers on eachothers boat, i was hoping that they would both blow up like the joker planned. i was sad and dissapointed when they didnt.

also, i was thinking of a possibility to make the joker seem more evil. instead of having the ships not blow up, why not make the normal people decide to destroy the prisoners ship, and when they push the button, it actually blows up their own ship? me and my friend discussed this and agreed it would make a much more thrilling part of the movie.

I thought that's what was going to happen. It would have been very ironic...much like The Joker's humor.
