1) Joker was un-****ing-believable. 2) Finally a movie that has the balls to kill off the girl. 3) The bomb-rigged boat scene = most suspenseful and EPIC scene ever! GO RANDOM NOBLE BLACK GUY! Also, nobody rip on HAL! Most soulless villain ever because, hell, he's got no soul.
One thing I was curious about.. Did the Joker tell Batman that harvey was where the girl was and the girl was where harvey was? So like.. Batman wanted to save the girl, but found Harvey there instead? o.o
My favorite scene it when the joker crashes the party for Harvey Dent. And Heath Ledger was amazing in that film.
Oh really? O_O Well it's your opinion. Not much I could do about that. I believe he deserves to be near the top ten. Just speculation for now. I would mind seeing them (they mentioned Philip Seymour Hoffman in the article, also) playing those roles, though. Both are very talented actors.
Johnny Depp as The Riddler? Hmmm I dont know, I dont think his style is right for the Batman movies. Jim Carrey would still suit it, but I doubt he'll be returning.
as you should have, lol. Someone I know is adament that it wasnt that good. I feel like slapping him. He gives me no reasoning why he doesnt like it. He just says "it wasnt that good" but gives no examples other than naming movies he thinks are better.
i think the series has thrived only BECAUSE they havent used hollywood superstars. Depp would ruin that thing they have going on. i know morgan freeman and so on, but the main characters are their own characters... you dont really associate them with anything but the role theyve been given.
Exactly, you dont even recognize Ledger or Bale because what they did cant even be called a performance because they truely became that role. Throughout all of the movie did I ever associate any of the actors as anyone other than who they were playing.
You wanna know how I got these scars? Wow. Best.Movie.Ever. Heath Ledger was insane, even though Rachel's character was still annoying. It was just put together so well. All of my expectations were exceeded. 5/5
Who says Depp can't do that? Depp has played numerous characters before. He's very underrated as an actor IMO.
what im saying is that Depp is an icon. you see johnny depp. like George Clooney playing batman, i saw George Clooney. plus, i dont know where you live, but Depp is so freakin overrated here that it isnt funny.
Intresting thing I noticed a couple days ago. Me and my dad rented the movie 'Im Not There', a movie about Bob Dylan with 6 actors, each representing a different stage of Dylan's career. Among those are Christian Bale and Heath Ledger. They both did a pretty good job.
Overrated my ass. I'm sick and tired of people like you who are too ignorant to see his talent. People always talk **** about Johnny but never back it up. Have you seen Ed Wood, Finding Neverland, Donnie Brasco, Sweeney Todd, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Edward Scissorhands, ect? I'm going to guess you have not seen any of those films because this conversation wouldn't have taken placed. I somewhat agree with thesilencebroken being iconic and doesn't particular fit Nolan's casting (ie needing to be European *joke*). But, like what I've been saying, Johnny Depp has done many different characters (and has done them well). Each movie he offers something different.
you see, what you just posted is an opinion. i wouldnt say hes any better than any other actor ive seen. im not impressed by him. The only thing ive liked with him in it is Scissorhands. i just dont think hes a good match.
