i forget, what does it look like in halo 2 again? is it the one with the huge crater thing in the center that moves around occasionally?
Dude, you do deserve Recon for this map! Dunno if I'm alowd to say this, but "You deserve to be in Favorites!" There I said it... I know for sure that you didn't spend 6 months on this, but this map is still awesome!
Your map description is well written. The map is very similar to Ascencion , however I'd have to agree with you about Bungie screwing up by not putting in the radio antenna and adding the crane. This map will definitely have a resting spot in my custom content, with life insurance.
Well, thank you very much. I remember reading a weekly update on Bungie with a portion explaining how easy it supposedly is to put your content on favs. The secret is apparently getting an official endorsement from a major Halo website. Reading that was kinda where I said screw it and moved on. But, there is power in numbers, and with it we can put this Tower of Power (or at least the gametype) on favs! After all, in the poll so far, over 96% of the voters were thoroughly impressed! On that note, "Give this man recon" was not to meant to be taken literally, (lol) it's just an expression of emotion in rating the map (like lol). Being awarded recon for making an awesome map is like a movie winning an Oscar. I have never actually heard of this happening, but if I'm wrong, tell me because I would like to see that map. Heh, after all that enthusiastic writing, I'm almost as attached to the post as I am to the actual map. That is why I haven't edited it yet to make it more professional. But I do need to give the guys at Bungie a little more credit. We were only half right - why the objects from previous built-in maps were left out is still a mystery, and their comments on the workings of the Forge were pretty vague for a long time. But,they have recently made it very clear why it is impossible to modify things like armor permutations and forgeable objects in an auto-update. I think I speak for the entire forging community when I say "saaaad faaaace." Anyway, here are my observations so far: The version with weapons is more popular than the one without. Nearly three times as many downloads, in fact. But the number of downloads for the base map and the tower of power gametype are nearly equivalent. From this we can conclude two things. 1. Many people love Team Slayer on Ascension. 2. Many of those same people love Tower of Power. Bungie, keep Ascension high on your list of remakes!
