    I love that too.
Just the way he shakes his voice when he says it.

I reckon I have memorized both stories of how he got those scars.

    Something I just saw today:
In ninth place was Ledger’s performance in the new Batman film 'The Dark Knight', which has seen calls for a posthumous Oscar.
rated 9th best villian of all time...

And holy crap its listed #1 on IMDG (or something like that)...wow.

What I'm wondering is what happened to Rachel. I mean, between saying bye to Alfred and getting blown up. They never show it. And that pissed me off so much. That, and not seeing how Harvey got kidnapped.

    Yeah I know.
It deserves it, but it may be because people are caught up in the hype but I do think it is the best movie of all time.

Who were above Heath in the best villains?

I kinda liked the Rachel thing. Think about it, imagination>seeing it. Like before Star Wars 3 came out, everyone had their own idea of what happens, but once it came out, it kinda got boring, because it showed it and closed up every thing that you might have been able to imagine yourself. Just IMO.

I dont remember really. Darth Vader was #2...the other ones for the most part were from movies i've never seen.

They did show him getting kidnapped. Ramirez brought him to the car that the other corrupted cop was driving, and they drove off. It happened right after they caught the Joker.

And I'm pretty sure Rachel blew up. lolz.

I meant, how did she get kidnapped? That was something they should have shown, because I'm still confused about it. And yeah, Harvey was shown driven off. But that's it. It doesn't show anything else after that.

It is shown, but they dont emphasize it when it happens.

They ask the Joker "where's Dent"
He says "Me, I was right here. Who did you leave him with, Your people. assuming they are still of course your people"

9th? Really? I don't think there has been a better villain than the Joker. He's dark....scary....and potentially real. You can't really say that about others....

I saw another top 10 list where Voldemort (Harry Potter) was number one on the list.....whoever made that one was an idiot.

The joker should be in the top 3....if not number 1.

    Really?

Hannibal Lector is someone I completely forgot about, he was awesome.
But I still think Heath's Joker is the best villain.

Yeah, I can't really think of a better villain than The Joker. Darth Vader, before the most recent movies spoiled everything with one of the worst "I can scowl so that means I can act" performances I've seen in a while that ruined the overall bad-assness of the character. I liked Hannibal Lector, but I still didn't feel as moved by his creepiness as I was by Heath's performance. Maybe I'm just jaded because I love the source material so much.

The Joker IMO too deserves the top spot of any lists he's on(unless it a "worst" list).
But I forgot about Hannibal Lector, he was a very good character, performed brilliantly.
If anything could overshadow The Joker, Hannibal Lector could do it.
Not a huge Star Wars fan so Darth Vader is not the top of my list.
Jack Nicholson in the Shining kind of surprised me. I've seen it(a while ago mind you) and I wouldnt really put it in the list of best villains.

I can see the original Darth Vader taking the number one spot, just because the villain has become so iconic in our society today. I'm sorry but Hayden Christensen just sucked terribly....

I think that in time, The Joker will become number one on that list. I'm guessing most people think its too soon to label him as the best villain of all time....I bet in 5 years he'll be there.....if not sooner.

    In time it should happen.
It was without question the best portrayal of a villain.

The Darth Vader character is kind of up there because of how big the original Star Wars was.
I'm baffled at the german guy from Die Hard being held in such high regards.

IDK. Just think about it, only watching Episode 5, Darth Vader is the ultimate villian, especially for an old movie. His voice, the way he walks, everything. And he has a super beam of light that is the ultimate weapon, can block bullets with his hand, and IS LUKE'S FATHA! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
