Maybe we can sponsor a site related to Far-cry and they can sponsor us back. Like sister sites or whatever it's called. FCmaps is a great console Far Cry map website that I think even uses the same forum as use.
Yeah, I was just thinking about a sister site. Perhaps even have cross-membership? That would definitely satiate the people's wants and needs without losing the Halo 3 Forge focus that FH has.
I would not like to see ForgeHub.com diversify to the needs of FarCry 2. Although I will probably get this game, I figure if people really want it, they could donate for FH to create a sister site, so it does not change what this site truly is. Domains are not at a high price, so maybe $50 for the next 2-3 years for the sister site, but only if FarCry 2's map editor has potential. If it is just a pile of rubbish, then let it be a pile of rubbish.
-.- Nerds of FarCry 2? I'm probably getting this game and I see nothing nerdish about it. I never played the first one, I just think the second one looks good. I'll probably rent it first. I believe that FC2's map editor will have potential, and agree that a sister site should be created/maintained. However, let's be honest, I don't think it's going to happen.
I think it would be a good idea. We would get the what, veteran 'Hubbers, what wave would it be? Like the 8th wave of new comers? Anyways, you could separate the whole site into Halo 3 and Far Cry 2 forging. You have a whole section of people that play Halo 3, and then have a Far Cry side. Or you could do what other people said, have a sister site. I don't know if anyone cares, but there is a game called Rune Scape and some players made a message board called RuneScape Community. Well some people from there made a sister site for World of Warcraft and apparently that is running smoothly too. (at the time of this post there is 568 guests and 246 members online on RSC)
Ok BTW, I wasn't talking about making a sister site, I was saying we could sponser another site, like FCmaps (link) and they could be our sister site. They even use the same Fourm as us (I think). But, if we were to make a sister site that would be cool too.
