This "new foundry" has to be further than the discussion stage. If it really was only being discussed they would not have mentioned it. I'm not saying its 100% going to happen, but bungie would be digging themselves a unpopularity grave by mentioning things that are unlikely to materialise. We don't even need a new canvas map, we just need a map with space, light and lots of good scenery to work with.
prerably perfectly square. But I dont see why bungie would want to make another foundry type map. Because when they make a new map like it who is would want to play on foundry again? No one really.
It said in the Bungie Update they are discussing so normally that means:happy: Its coming but we aren't saying it yet because we don't know what the hell its going to look like. Can't Bungie Put Halo 2's Map Editor in or make a conversion program so we can use the Halo 2's Map Editor on PC then convert it to Halo 3 Map Files and transfer it using Ethernet cables to our Xbox 360? eve if.. you still cant go over 100 items which defeats the perpose of a larger map seeing as i have trouble doing tht with foundry as it is

If this does happen, i defiantly see this not happening soon. But I would really like a new map for forge.
I hope it comes out soon! I can't wate for it! I think that Bungie shouldn't make it a map pack, but a Forge Update... New options, Glue that sticks objects places... all that stuff that people have thought of. Oh, and the big Foundry place.

Erm... it would be so good if you could get your own posters put on a wall. I would put a poster up with a crosshair on a Spartans head then at the bottom it woud say game over. Then after the person notices I would snipe 'em. Hehe. Dave the Rave52
You know what else? If they made a gun that shot machine-gun rockets, or a Scarab, or maybe an Elephant too. Flying Elephants. So cool, eh? Not out of the limits of reality at all.
If you want all that, go play halo custom edition. Seriously, Bungie's not actually going to make a pc editor to make maps for the 360. Maybe for a computer version but not a console version. And also, too much coding hurts my head.
Which, by the way, is freaking epic. But yeah, the most we can hope for is a new Foundry. Let's hope they bring in something cool to add on to it.
