I just have to try this out. I will complete this in less than 120 seconds and I will earn to be a true ninja! 5/5 cuz this is 100% pure awesomeness.
This looks very cool, can't wait to try this out. And is there a specific Gametype? Because people may cheat.
Like the description says, just use default slayer. The course is designed to prevent people from blatantly cheating.. but asides from that, I posted some general "honor" rules in the announcement post. If people don't follow them.. it doesn't make much difference. The course is meant to be fun.. everyone has a different definition of fun
this looks awesome. im a fan of the ninja warrior show too lol, im going to go play it like, right now.
This obstacle course was one of the best I've seen. There's just one jump I always fail at. My favorite part has to be the slide. the only thing wrong is it's possible to jump down onto blackout but if your really doing this course it shouldn't matter.
*sigh*...None of my other friends can come close to finishing this map. I'm the only one who can get through...
Wow! I DLed it thinking itd be crap, but I actually enjoy it, its a hard map, that isnt too hard, my only problem, is the time it takes to get past the soccer ball, but then you fall on the precision jumps DX. I enjoy it thoroughly though. but my friends started cheating past the soccer ball, so I think you should fix that, they either double-jump, or grenade jump over the wall :/
I'm glad you didn't think it was crap a lot of people have said the same thing..they were going in expecting nothing, and were pleasantly surprised. With the soccer ball, you can get by pretty fast if you actually stand next to it and melee it.. People that cheat on the obstacle course really aren't bothering anything.. I mean, the only thing you get from completing it in time is personal satisfaction. ..I guess some people get a sense of satisfaction from getting around obstacles rather than passing them.. who am I to rob them of that? I actually would encourage people to play it in Forge so that they can fly past obstacles that are particularly aggrevating.. It's all meant to be fun. That being said, I do plan to make another one (probably won't be posted for at least a month), ..and I'll try to address issues like that and people jumping on the slide challenge. The course is MEANT to be cheat proof, after all.. but I don't feel like it's something that needs to be revised and re-released
It's a good map if all your friends are on holiday or something and youre bored but you can't really do it in a group it's too adictive.
Since I posted it, all the times I have played it have been with a party.. it's been fun, but the course was never designed to compliment having a party--even though I made sure there was a spawning area with 16 spawn points, the course as a whole was designed for one player. Like I mentioned before, I do plan to create one more of these.. and I'm going to try to address that. The course will still be intended for one player at a time, but the general layout should make playing as a party more enjoyable.
Very, very good map. As soon as I finished the pictures I downloaded and started up my 360 right away. (Not to mention the map choice was an excellent idea) As I am an obstacle course fan. 5/5 EDIT: I somehow skipped how G4's Ninja warrior was the inspiration. I too watch that show.
