I can't seem to merge walls and bridges in the the geometry. I am using braces. I have tried both methods. Could somebody please show me ingame, just send me a FR. GT is NewbAmoeba.

Is it that they dont merge at all, or that they are very unreliable and hard to get straight/flat? Because if its the second one then I have the same problem.

door method works fine for me. use teleporters to secure the item. use alot of teleporters. make sure its impossible for the wall or bridge to move any where except into the map geometry.

The only major problem I have are the signs. I can't get them into the ground for the life of me. They'll merge into the damned teleporter node, but not into the floor. grrrr...

I always use a combination of corner walls to secure a wall or double wall. Since a corner wall will always sit perfectly straight on the floor, place one near your wall's point, and then place the Wall up against the corner wall. Put another corner wall against the opposite side, and whatever you want against the small sides of the wall. Then put a Door on both ends of the top side of the Wall, and merge. Works for me every time.

Geomerging Corner Walls, on the other hand... just pisses me off.
