    forgive the spelling on the map name please. this is a very tight and enclosed map with lots of dead ends and good for colse quater combat.

    • A view of most of the map
    • i suggest slayer (or team slayer) or a swords match; all of thoes without radars
    [​IMG]
    • one of the many tight corners that can be found in the map... some just big enough for one person to barley fit through
    [​IMG]
    • two identical weapon pickup areas on each side are complete with close quater weapons, grenades and equipment
    [​IMG]
    • and last is the pit of death... need I say any more?

    I suggest checking out Forging 101 and reading up on the different techniques. It gives you a smoother look on the map and smoother gameplay as well

    Welcome to ForgeHub!

    Yeah like he said, you could've used some Forge techniques, but your map seems like fun to play on, and I see you've put all the weapons grenades and equipment, very close to each other, wich is pure fail in the Competitive map section.
    Also, your in need of a link to your File Share and you need a decent description.

    umm. i dont really think the map is that good. Let me tell you why, one thing is the lack of interlocking. Interlocking is a must when posting a map on forgehub. It looks clean and no rough edges. Another reason is that the bridges with all the grenades and other stuff i dont really think is nessecary. That really makes the map be more chaotic and a lot more death, which really isn't fun. Not meaning to flame but you really dont have a weapons list or a paragraph about the map. Which doesn't tell us very much about the map. I know this is probably your first map post, so im sorry about flaming you but, just to give you some pointers. So Welcome to ForgeHub! : )

    yeah i think i know what you mean... i did this kind of a hurry so it doesnt look too terribly nice. and old granny51 i dont take your posting as a flame at all, its really helpfull and will help me on future projects, but it should atleast be tried... sometimes a little crudeness and overlooking planning can make a map fun

    Interlocking is not a must to post a map on forgehub. Go look at tex's lazy mapmakers contest. There were some really good maps in there. You only need to interlock when it is needed, or if you want to interlock everything go for it, and it does make it look neater.

    BTW, Good first post. It does look a bit messy and it is a bad thing to have all the weapons clumped together but this could have been much worse. I recommend playing swords to whoever downloads.

    ok, so i think you think interlocking isnt necessary for a map, and your right. buuuut its hard for a map to get anything higher than a 3. good maps need interlocking, and this one could be better with it. its like art, and if you want your art to be great, you must learn the techniques and how to excecute them. give it a chance. its really important. and also armories(like all those weapon choices in one place) isnt a good idea. sorry.

    looks cool but are you supposed to be able to jump on top of the boxes because a well done grenade jump could get them out of the map.

    well saint that was a problem that i wanted to adress but i just didnt have enough resources left to cover the top... thats the point of the teleporters

    7/10. the map looks nice, i like maze maps, but you might wanna go for more advanced techniques in your next map (i'm sure someone else has already attached the link)
