Brand new here, but I have known forge hub for awhile...Love to forge (although not as talented as the top forgers) and participate in custom games...mostly infection, but any sick map will do! Hopefully i'll meet (kind and cool) more players that i will hopefully get to know and play with on halo 3... I'll stay active, but don't know what to do if I am not a huge forger who posts all his maps and etc... Thanks, and I hope my stay will be enjoyable!!
Welcome. Since it seems you know the site, I guess I'll give you the quick rundown. *Ahem* Follow the rules. That is all. I'm sure since you visited and read threads you know all the rules to the site. Also, obviously, if you want to post your map in one of the map threads, make sure your post is up to Forgehub standards. We have trouble with this a lot. We get some good ones, we get some bad ones... So welcome, and enjoy your stay! Question: Why do you have a TM next to your name?
Thanks for the welcome, Juggernaut...I doubt i'll be posting any maps of mine but i will certainly use the appropriate format for the standards if i one day choose to do so. I know you guys are quite successful so I will at least somehow try to help out, even if its minimal... BTW, the ™ next to my name is just to make it look sort of cool i guess, lol, but i traditional put it there on any SN.
You seem like a nice new member, keen to be an active part of the community, which is great. Don't feel bad about posting your maps though, there's a vast spectrum of skill here and everyone fits in somewhere, plus you never know, it could turn out that you are awesome and just don't know it Glad to see your familiar with FH, it really helps to know the rules and conventions when posting and it seems like your bearing this in mind already, nice one. Hope to see you around the forums, and feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the forum or about forging. Welcome to FH.
Thanks Pegasi, feels nice when a member such as you says things like that haha... Yeah, I may try to make 1 really nice map and put it on FH to see how it stands. To be honest i think i can devote myself to it, but my only problem is my work ethic. Sometimes i'll feel like i don't want to finish a map that i have been doing for 3+ hours already...And I never try to do any challenges..I need to work on that, because i think i know enough to generate a decent map but that is playable and enjoyable. I may send you some PMs regarding forge tips/questions later on because it helps talking with an advanced designer. thanks again!
