The good: Easy to find players. Shooting players threw the fence walls when they are camping. The Bad: The map is overloaded with equipment all in one area. Although I do not view equipment as part of competitive map making. The choice is really up to you. The power drain covers a decent amount of space when active. Equipment suggestion: Possibly move the equipment into the corners with the two window panels. This map looks like it trying to be symmetrical. However, in the center of the map many objects are not matched up. For instance, the single open boxes. My suggestions: Map suggestion: Clean up the center of the map, because it is the main focus of the map. Weapon suggestion replace shotgun with mauler. Add carbines to top of the single open boxes. Another map suggestion: Adding another level or platform above the current middle will add a bit more depth to the map. As the map stands there is little cover. A second floor also add possibilities to add more weapons(spacing them out). Overall:I can see it took some time to construct this map. However, the map needs work if it wants to be a competitive 1v1 2v2 map. 2/5
looks cool, i c uv geo merged the open box, but make sure uv blocked it off carefully so that it doesnt go on an angle, looks small but really fun gd job
Great Map! 5/5 its very fun to play with when i only have 1 friend on..which is usually never.. but awesome map either way.
Yeah, pretty good, kinda basic though, and it's nothing special though you've tried, and that's a good thing.
hey stin 10 i see you made it better. but have u considered making it MLG? sure you would have to change some weapons but it could be more fun.
i agree with him and a brute shot can be bad cause you might be abe to get out. just leave it with one shotgun
3/5 you took the pictures too close so you cant get a good idea of what the map is my suggestion is that you put an overview not just pics of certain parts
Great job using shield doors effectively. Its a difficult task to mount with weapons such as the shotgun on a map. But the fence wall roofs deal with that perfectly. The upside down interlocked signs are very interesting as well. Providing a bit of cover up top, as well as some interesting cover down low. i like how your head has cover, but you can still fire at the players' legs. That's pretty cool, and something that I'm surprised isn't used more often. It seems a bit equipment heavy. I can't see the radar jammer being too useful in this particular map, being that there isn't a terrible lot of broken lines of sight (everything is just on two levels, and somewhat open). What other weapons do you have on the map. I see the Shotguns (2 seems excessive) and the Needler, as well as a couple BRs, but a list here in the post would be nice. Also, is the map only set up for CTF. It easily could be set up for multiple, if not all gametypes it you wished. This could be a really cool map to experiment with the symmetry options forge provides. Changing the layout and the routes up a bit for asymmetric games would be very cool.
I think you ran out of cash or items.... the space has been badly used. There's quite alot of things that need fixing like the top row of boxes are messy and it's just way too open. However there is also good features e.g. nice placement of the B sign, very artistic and I like the way you will be able to shoot through the fence wall floor. I think for a next map you should remember that you can either have: A small enclosed map A large open man A large enclosed map but small and open doesn't work. Iv'e tried it.
