    damn dented drum. you're helping me too :). i wouldn't mind knowing how to do that bbs code either. i'll ignore the "things" comment cause you interested me enough lol. here i'll even help you: yes you spelled etiquette right......i think.

    and gollum, i'm glad to see you got pics up. it looks great. i've of course forged through it already and thought it was great. haven't gotten the chance to play on it yet, but yea. great job overall.

    Brilliantly updated, my friend!

    I like how you noted that the description of the pictures were above the picture. Usually, Forgers provide no space in between the list of pictures and descriptions. So, I get lost in the clutter, and have no idea what exactly they're describing.

    So, that was a refreshing bit. Also, I like the jump-to links. Whoever showed you that must be a really, really awesome person. The Google definition was pretty cool as well. Lots of links, and lots of reading to peruse. You can never over-define a map. You gave a lot to see, and that's just awesome. Great map, and a great post. Way to keep your own style in your writing, that's respectable as well.

    Anywho, great job, and I hope to see some more later on!

    Thanks guys. And yea, the guy who taught me the useful jump-to links is awesome = ).
    Dented, thanks for showing me how to vastly improve my post. Although it took forever, it was worth it.
    I found a gif maker (2nd down on Google search), real simple, but i haven't discovered a "hover effects" generator yet.

    EDIT: I just noticed that my rep says "Uc Gollum is a user." That doesn't sound good = (.

    Nice map. The interlocking is the best feature. Very smooth and well done. I like all those curves and what not. I cant see any merging from the pics bu I am sure you did some of that. good job.

    I only used geo-merging where necessary. In some areas geo-merging would have led to people being able to just crouch jump to get higher.

    What I can remember is geo-merging with the crane (two double walls, one horizontally, the other vertically, and geo-merging a bridge with the foundry wall.
    The crane was hell.

    I really like this map! The stair-bridge is probably the most awesome thing I've seen in forever!! I am going to download this and play on it for sure!

    UC! I just got done with a quick Forge-through of this map. I found one serious, serious problem. Now, this problem isn't your fault at all, because I doubt you know the problem exists.


    Anywho, onto the issue. You used the Budget Glitch, correct? Well, the map I downloaded was still Budget Glitched. When a map is Budget Glitched map is finished, you always save two different versions. The version you post to ForgeHub should have all the Run Time Maximums set back to the number placed on map.

    The reason for this? The Budget Glitch is well-known for tampering with spawn times of items. So, when you're in a match, it will actually have different spawn times on Weapons/Equipment than what you have set. As I said, I doubt you even knew that that was possible, so I figured I'd let you know.


    Now, that was the only flaw I could find with it. Seriously, there was a whole, whole lot of merging. Everything was walkable. It looked like it would play greatly for any team gametype. Great job, bro!

    Thanks for looking over it = ). I actually did "remove" the Budget Glitch, but I did have slightly heightened Run-Time Maximums. The reason for this is to allow for multiple of the same weapon to be on the map. For example, there are 2 SMG spawns, but the SMG item has a Run-Time Maximum of 4. Instead of having it so only 2 SMG's can be on a map at the same time, 2 more SMG's can spawn while 2 others exist. This gives a total of 4 SMG's to be allowed on the map at once

    I'm sure you knew this, but for those who didn't, there is the explanation.
    Also, I had no idea that this could mess with spawn times. I have never noticed varying spawns, or that numbers have changed. The only problem I have had is when loading the map in forge with multiple people (many things do not load, and if you save before they have, then those objects cease to exist).

    I agree. ManRayX, that is just annoying.

    Anyway, I've DL'ed, and been through this map with UC Gollum--though I haven't actually had a chance to play a game on it--and it looks great. The interlocking is very good, and I imagine the games on it have an intense, kill-or-be-killed feel, owing to the relative lack of cover in the center and at the bases.

    I'd definitely want to play a few games on this one.

    EDIT: Oh, and Gollum, I like your comment on your rep...heheh, pretty funny. : D
