The merging and interlocking is only a little part towards the outstanding aesthetics of this map. I have noticed that Bl00d has a thing for ghosts in his maps and always perfect the right amount of space and limits the ghost can do for fair playability. Even though the reciever node sun effect isn't original, it gives a good code word for team strategy and enemey placements. I thought the gameplay was very fun and enjoyable and that the highground/lowground feel really plays well. Ramparts is deffinetly a map you will want to keep on your hard drive for endless, unforgettable games.
I really like adding vechials to maps, They make gameplay more crazy. There for I use ghost seeing as foundry's really only supported vechials are ghosts and mongooses. and also thank you
draw the line did a fantastic job supporting warthogs, its just the style of map. however, i think you do a wonderful job incorporating the ghost in.
Yes there is some acceptions to what I said. I agree with Draw's warthogs on gridlocked. They work out fine. It all depends on the map. But for the most part, Ghosts + Mongooses
ive downloaded and looked at this map already, adn it has many interesting and creative structures in it. i like the "slide" at sniper spawn(i think its sniper spawn) and the way a wal is sandwhiched between two fence walls. i understand why everyone keeps nominating it. i also really like the wall slant on the area of the sniper spawn

I love this map, all the weapons like the gravity hammer, sniper rifle, and the spartan laser make for good fighting and the ghost just makes it awesome.
Well I was the maker of Eviscerate and I re-worked the center structer to work with this map. That prob what makes it a mix from Eviscerate. Also I thank you
It's been a while since I have played this but I remember it quite well. I would like to reminded you one thing I'm going to be blunt and tell my whole thought on the map. I played a game of Team slayer and One Flag 4v4 on this and it was quite dull. To me it seems that every one has been going with the Hammer, Ghost, Sniper, etc, you I believe have done it twice, It just seems played out. Yes it's fun driving a Ghost who doesn't like doing that, but why do I need to when I can just hoof it. It just felt not needed in the over all game play. The map also has a very shallow feel to it. For 1 - flag complete mess. defense starts VERY close to the Sniper, Hammer, Ghost, and Splaser while offense can get to the flag in about 15 seconds. Those lead to very unbalanced matches for the offensive team. I just think you could of did a over all better job with this map.Lastly I felt that the flags in the boxes were pointless. I had trouble picking them up some times. I'm sorry to say but I will not keep this on my HDD. You just didn't complete the total package on this one.
I'd say that the placement of the sniper looks like utter rubbish, you're spawning it in the most effective place for it, and the ghost is too close, so in a team game it looks like one could grab sniper, to pick off people, and the other could just get in the ghost, providing an effective defense for the ghost. I won't go into how much I hate gravity hammers. I will still give you the benefit of the doubt and play it, before making more concrete judgements though.
