This is proof I'm really bored right now... Basically it's like if you took MS paint, and made it dynamic. It's free to play, and have a couple different versions. If you just wanna try it out I recommend playing New Sand, it's the sexiest of the browser versions. However if you don't mind downloading/installing a game then I recommend playing wxSand, or Burning sand, they're much better then the Browser versions. Materials act like you would imagine: Fire burns oil, plant, seed, wax, zombies(New sand), seed grows on ground (and then makes annoying pollen ****.) Water + salt = Salt water water causes plant to grow. fire causes water to evaporate (wxsand, and in Burning (?)) ??? kills everything. And much more, (I'm just too lazy to look through all the effects in wxsand, and Burning.) Also something I thought was pretty cool: Coolant was one of the very well known members on the FSG boards before he came to FH. I used to spend countless hours on this. I remember making epic fire bombs from napalm. I don't think I made anything quite as epic as is shown above, but I still made stuff like islands and such.
I was insanely addicted to it a year or so ago. I don't really play it anymore, but I just thought it would be cool to post here.
O__O I can't believe I forgot this game, this turned into a freaking meme in my family. I had no idea there were boards for it or that people made things as complicates as what you posted, but it was still a fun thing to waste time on. *goes to play*
i was hooked on that until i found a game better it actually had some physics so explosions made shockwaves and such and you could make guns that actually shot and random crap like that Link to game

Wow i remember making all kinds of complex structures with this like have a big concrete thing with a tiny bit of plant in the bottom and have watter go into them to fill the concrete just to burn it all from the fire under the water spout.
An easy way to make a cave surrounded by water, just make sure the outer edge is equal, or farther down, than the inner edge or else water will escape in it, oh and this is New Sand
