    Comments: An incredible map. It looks a bit... boxy in areas- it could benefit from some curves. Mostly though, it's ridiculously good. Ridiculously original ideas, ridiculously neat construction, ridiculously well planned layout, ridiculous. Lol.

    First of all, what the hell does it mean to be "too boxy"? The majority of forge goes by boxes. There aren't any naturally curvy objects, so it's natural for the map to go by boxes. Even if a map could be considered "boxy", how is it a bad thing? How many natural curves does The Pit have? Onslaught? Think about it.

    Second, how does he not have enough pics? He actually maxed out on pics. Forgehub won't let him put any more on! So saying he doesn't have enough pics (You can see every part of the map from his pics, so don't say that you couldn't get a clear image) is just plain retarded. Offense intended.

    I'm guessing the retarded "boxy" comment is what got him the 4.5 in looks, but is there anything else? Because he interlocked f**king everything and it all looks good together. If you're going to review a map like this, at least make it somewhat acceptable.

    Team NoseyNaux has done it again. You guys never fail to amaze me. My one complaint is that you guys seem to harbor a dislike for the Shotgun. Why don't you have it on most of your maps?

    They tend to make smaller, 2v2 type maps, and a shotgun would be overpowered on a map of that size.

    this is true, and in addition, we have had it on 2 out of 5 of our maps and it was on a third but then taken of due to its overpowering. so its not like we never include it

    I put his post in the OP. I'm fine with questions concerning that, but he straight up came and told me to change my post. That's just not a way to get anything accomplished. So, I handled the situation, humbled him, and accomplished all this without flaming *happah faic*


    I'm....confused. Just as Sharp said, I cannot put anymore pictures in the post. Now, one can only complain so much about a 5/5 Overall, and I don't want to appear as if I'm unsatisfied with that, but some of the individual ratings don't make sense.

    Of course, the overview I took was from the best angle possible. Seriously, there are twenty pictures in that thread. If one cannot establish the proper idea of the map from 20 total pictures, then that's not really my fault, is it?

    Also, you gave me a 4.5 on looks. One could say that I'm just being annoying and picky now, but I can honestly disagree with this. Counting weapons and spawn points, there are more objects on this map interlocked than are not. Yes, that is fact. They aren't bad merges either. They're all clean, and all re-done several times to make sure they look presentable. I can't change the review, and I doubt you'll come back to check my reply, but those are a few things that I disagreed with.


    Why, thank you! I know you like the Shotgun. Most of our maps simply don't support a Shotgun. If you or anyone else would like, I'll post this map with a different weapon selection. I prefer the Competitive Gameplay Weapon Set, but an alternate version made for kicks and giggles won't hurt anyone. Shotguns are simply too CQC for our maps. Since we prefer small, 2V2 maps, the person having the Shotgun would have too much of an advantage on the other team.

    Hmm, one can only hope. There are tons (seriously, tons) of good maps in the Competitive section right now. Competing with those is tough. However, I'm glad you seem to think that, and I'm happy to see a rating. Thanks a lot, bro!

    Review( see, I didnt forget, I was just compiling data)

    Aesthetics: 5/5: The Aesthetics of Regency surpass a majority of the maps that I download. Every bump has been flattened to create a perfectly flat areana playing field. Nice objects like the Trophy Case and Tower Wraith add some flavor to an already Beautiful map.

    Layout/Design:4.85/5: The only reason this isnt perfect is because in 3v3, we found that Grenade Spam was a problem, but only a small one. On the positive side, weapon layout and Map Design are nearly flawless, and create a great area for epic drawn out BR duals( we had one back and forth dual that lasted 3 minutes with nobody dieing,not too many maps can say that.) The PP/BR combo is a lifesaver as well....

    Originality:5/5: Just as Carter said, Arena style, but with a TON of crazy features. I, too, Have checked all the Map pages since the Placeble Mancannon was introduced, and the Regenerator Key IS NOT THERE! Its a brand new concept only seen in Regency. Nuff said.

    Gameplay:6/5: Over the top epic friken 3 minute long BR duals using some zany/cheap tactics to top your opponant. Not joking, that really happened. This maps gameplay tops some of the best ForgeHub has to offer. That alone cements this map on my HardDrive for a very,very long time.

    OVERALL:10/10: I back up my statement that i posted earlier. This is the most fun map I have ever played. A must download for Competitive map lovers everywhere.

    Wow, I'm thoroughly impressed, and honored. I'm glad you took the time to dissect the map like that, and I'm quite pleased to see that you enjoyed it. For the record, the fact that Grenade Spam hurt gameplay in your opinion would factor into Gameplay's rating, not Layout/Design.

    That said, I won't complain at all. That was more of something I laughed at to be honest. I really enjoyed your review. Thanks for always supporting Team NoseyNaux, and I sure hope we can keep you this pleased with us in maps to come.




    Me thinks FireBombs are epic as well. I wasn't too surprised to see a little bit of opposition to those in a Competitive Map, but I still like how they play. I absolutely will never put Plasma Grenades on this map. They're actually my favorite grenade, but they simply wouldn't play well on this map. Spike Grenades explode differently on Foundry's place-able objects than they do on any other map. I simply don't like that about them.

    Thus, I was left with only FireBombs. I like how they play, and have yet to see them professionally used. I'm glad those of you who are pleased feel that way. They've certainly been great to me.

    I wanna say that this wraps things up, but this actually just wraps up this post. I'm happy to see that our map's been well-accepted, and I'm hoping to get it out there to a lot of other Forgers that haven't had a chance to see it. Thanks a lot, everyone!

    This is an amazing map & post. With the intent on coming to view this post to give myself an idea of how I should do mine, I never would have expected this. I can see that many hours, probably 40 + have been put into this map (i know, you can never truly count them).
    Superb interlocking, design, and post. This is the first posted map i have seen with the regenerator/man-cannon glitch. Sorry I had to mention it lol, but before finishing my most recent map, I started (and have nearly finished testing) my first map on the Legendary map pack. In the process of looking at the LMP's forgibility, i discovered that glitch = ). I never posted it though, so you are the first to have that in a map (I can remove this if you want). Funny how people discover the same things.
    Anyways, fantastic map & a great example post for me to refer to.

    For some reason, I love the maps where you don't walk on the Foundry floor at all.
    Giving you a five for the originality.

    We feel the same way about the Foundry floor, so we try to make all of our maps with just items, which becomes difficult to keep the maps big, which is why we stick to doubles maps. :)

    When i put that thing about nadespam in Design, I ment that in 3v3, the layout of the map Supported nadespam, meaning that it was really easy to get a free kill at the beginning of the match by throwing grenades at the 2 ways out from each spawn. I recommend that when you play 3v3, take off starting grenades.

    That's just the same as saying (Using your earlier review comment as an example) that the layout of the map is what made those epic BR fights, and thus should not be included in your gameplay section. You need to decide whether it's the map layout or the gameplay, but you can't just sort things randomly in to either cattegory.
