This is by far the luckiest stick ive seen on lone wolves ( against me that is ) BTW It ended my Open Season.
Reminds me to try something later. If someone sticks your gun and you drop it before the explosion, does the grenade go with the weapon?
it's too bad that bungie didn't include a button to throw your weapon back at the enemy, hey, that could replace the equipment button! EDIT: damn you waylander and your supa fast fingers.
Wow I dont know, I didnt have time to think of that, I got mad and threw the controller at the tv ( jk ) because I lost my open season. I should try that one time I wonder if it will work.
Hahaha! Like the kamikaze when you stick yourself as a human and turn to forge mode to go blow up next to someone. I'm so gonna try this next time I get on Halo. I can see some mean as traps being laid if that works.
but what would happen if u switched ur weapons? would the stuck one ben on ur back with the weapon or on the weapon u just switched with???
Yes the grenade goes with the weapon. And if someone picked it up the person who threw the plasma grenade would get the kill.
yeah we know they would get the kill, what we are wondering is if the person that picked up the weapon would get stuck.
lol nice screen, I once got one similar.. I tried to stick this guy, after I threw it I was like awh crap thats gonna miss, I'm screwed. But started reloading at the perfect time to catch the plasma nade >.< Bungie putting shotgun on snowbound = fail. I'm glad they use HC Snowbound now
yeah your right, it makes the map so much more balanced. i wish they would get rid of the ghost though.
I would have to disagree, the ghost helps people get the killing frenzy achievement, and also helps use all of the open land in snowbound. I do agree putting the shotgun in the level was kind of a bad idea. I would replace it with a mauler.
Have tested the theory now. The grenade stays with the weapon if you drop it(swap it for another one lying around) but it still explodes after the same time limit. So if you get rid of the gun quick enough and get away you'll live. However, changing weapons that you already have just makes the grenade jump to your other weapon when you ring it out and you still blow up.
The plasma/spike goes with the weapon. This happened to me on Isolation and I stuck the guys gun and he dropped it =(. Nice picture though, very rare for that to happen.
So, basically if you pick the weopon up that the person you stuck previously had its suicide...haha nice
I've teted it it doesn't. You you drop the gun (IE you are no longer holding it either in your hands or hanging from your player) then the grenade stays with the weapon. It still blows up at the same time as usual though so you have to do it quick and get away quick. No laying traps for people.
I held a large weapon (rocket launcher) while standing over another weapon and had a mate throw a sticky onto it. Once I saw it stuck I swapped for the weapon on the ground and backed up.
