Great find man, floor wraiths would be cool as hell. Your tutorials are structured a bit irritatingly, but that's ok. Also, your signature is MASSIVE, like way big. the max size is 200tall and 500wide. Cut it down a bit.
Hey, fences are insanely thin. as are the window panels. try them out if you want to. you can get that extra space
I'm glad I helped. And I never thought about using teleporters to anchor underneath the map. BTW, I love your 1v1 Ghost Town map. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I fixed it?
Thanks. I'm going to be working on v1 which will only contain minor changes next week. Nobody's given me any convincing reason to change the item layout beyond "i like guardian 1v1 better". Isn't it kind of funny how we were both having essentially inverse versions of the exact same problem?
Errrrrrrrrrrr, I'd hate to burst your bubble, but this does NOT work in an actual game. If you load up the example map in a real game none of the objects appear, not even the grav lift.
By actual game, I assume you mean custom game. Thats the reason I never posted on this thread as my friend tryed this long ago and we thought we were clever untill we loaded custom games Nice idea though.
This does hinder this techniques usefulness quite a bit, and I really should have tested it before going so far into experimentation. But the going-under-the-floor technique is still a major find IMO, especially considering how easy it is. It could help with geomerging immoveable objects as I said, and hopefully I'll have some success in exploiting it in other ways, my experiments continue...
OMG this is amazing. Ive been trying to figure this out for a long time but i never thought of going under the map to do it. Good job! Make sure to post if you find out any other cool ideas to use with this
You Kno U Should Make A Youtube Video Maybe That Would Help Cuz When I Try Im Kinda Confused... But That Is Sweet..
I tried this b4 and the objects just fell through the map. Great idea with the under-map supporting wall!
Pretty sure Hoff is working on a video, but I think he needs someone to capture it if anyone has that facility then please post here. A video really will help as some of it is either really long or really difficult to describe. It also takes a little getting used to for people not used to glitching out of maps, the death barriers seem to be in odd places down there, like next to where the pipes are.
I need it cap'd yes. Also, I tested in custom games and it worked? It was a wire spool though, nothing else. It was when I first discovered it.
