IMO the only way for Obama to win, would be to have all the people that voted for Bush last time, vote for him this time, which I don't see happening. Historically, African American's don't vote. This time however,I think we're going to see a huge surge of votes from them to swing the votes in the Democrats favor. So I don't think its so much a question of who deserves to win rather than, whose got the biggest swing vote, and in this case, it'll be Obama
Why does everyone think Oboma would be assasinated? The only way that might happen is if the goverment was in on it. If you think white supremisists might do it, think about it, where can a moron find weapons that could penetrate the security of a president? Sure there might be attempts but idk if he will actually be killed.

I really have an open minded decision when it comes to who is going to be the president. See I don't really care who it is that is going to win the presidential election, but as long as the economy becomes better and hopefully just hopefully the gas prices will go down. Because next year I will have my liscense. If I were required to vote for one of these guys, I would prefer Obama for 3 reasons. One- he is from the state of Illinois which is where I live. Two- He would be the first Black president. Three he looks like the Rock "Dwayne Johnson". That is all I have to say and look at the below picture I made.
I hadn't seen this thread until earlier, and I went threw it, its almost unbelievable that there is hardly 3 intelligent posts, I was really expecting to come in here and have an intellectual discussion over modern day issues and solutions. Half the peoples sigs are still there for Christs sake.

I'll tell you what I do every election day of every year for every office. Stay home. People always vote for the guy they think will best lead the country, but everyone just drives us into a hole one way or another. That's why I sit home, don't vote, and complain about who wins and how the screwed us. If I had to choose, Obama would get my vote. Feel free to attack ferret, I know you will anyway...
i've never voted. i just dont feel that it makes a difference. but if millions of other people dont vote because they dont think they make a difference, then if they all vote, they WILL make a difference. but how big of a difference will it be? the president doesnt really mean **** anyways, just another crooked figurehead. walks around, gives some speaches, tries to act important. makes a few minor decisions. **** it. oh yea, and as much as i hate to say it: im pretty sure obama is gonna get shot. i wouldnt be surprised at all if it happens. there's way too many ignorant racist ****s in our country, i guarantee someone is gonna be all butthurt about a black president.
I go more with McCain the Obama, although it does not really matter who is our president because they have no true power in the government. It's just a mask The United States will wear for 4 years and then its off. Although they can make small changes, but in all I think they will make no significant difference.
I must say Nitrous, I'm surprised. If we do nothing to help better the world, then it will only get worse. Voting is the simplest way to directly effect our nation. If you don't feel that voting is beneficial to our nation, then perhaps you should be directly involved with the government yourself. The fact of the matter is that doing nothing and complaining is far worse than any ballot choice you could make. If anyone here has the ability to go out and vote, I would recommend doing so.
