    Thankyou all for your feedback it is greatly appreciated! I'll take this opportunity to address any issues you might have.

    Conflict is a Land Grab variant based on Conquest, mixed with MLG. To purpose of the game is too control the most number of territories over 3 rounds of 3 minutes.

    Unlike Conquest however (which has a single back-and-forth set-up), Conflict maps have multipe access points to each territory, usually with a cental 'hub'; controlling this area is difficult, but makes it easier to command the rest of the map, and usually offers access to a power-weapon.

    I'll make a topic about this later to discuss it more fully, but essentialy if Land Grab, Conquest & MLG had a bastard love-child, it would be called Conflict. =]

    There are only a few weapons because 1) you start with BRs anyways, & 2) it is an enclosed map, and too many would flood it.

    Anyways, I suck at Weapon Placement, so if anyone has any advice please let me have it! I can take the criticism!

    There is a roof, and the map is inescapable. See the post for pictures.

    1) I haven't seen Gridlocked, so I'll take your word for it!
    2) Mongooses *COULD* work; I imagine if you removed all the cover from the alleys and central area, and maybe added some shield walls to deal with the sharp turns, but I'm there are much better race maps out there!

    Now now, let's not argue semantics!

    I forgot to mention that as it's so close-range, Conflict maps have No Radars! Anyways, I'd love to put this in my sig, but I've run out of space for images!

    PS. It's Conflict, not Conquest! =p

    Not really. The Conflict gametype starts players without grenades, and there's only 4 Frag grenades on the map, each with a 1min respawn.

    Hmmm, I think I remember that map from somewhere... =P

    this loks really cool from above andf everything looks well done, a sniper looks like it would beast in this map, and thats about the only thing i can do in halo, so with no sniper i would suck but anyway good map.

    Sorry for the diamond pun, but is the map Unbreakable, because to me it looks like you can get out. Or am I missing something, like how ocnquest has higher gravity?

    well the map does kind of remind me of gulf of oman from bf2 just a little i dont know why
    anyways good job

    The map is INESCAPABLE.

    The map is roofed so you cannot jump out; this was taken off for the pictures, but it is still there.

    Dude you need to put a roof on this map... lol just kidding. Actually this looks fairly interesting. With that little roof and that converging layout, this just might provide a new experience for gameplay...

    Dammit I hate admit it but you actually got me - I was just about to turn around and punch the wall!

    Anyways, thankyou and everyone else you have all been very complimentary and flattering! I was worried people would dump on the map for being too simple!

    Looks REALLY nice from the pics, but I don't need to play it to notice that it's VERY escapable. Honor rule sucks. All you need is to put something on the walls to keep people from nade jumpin out of the map. I'll DL the map though, and see how I like it.

    yo you could easily grenade jump out!

    I dont seem to like these maps, as the shotguns look too overpowering

    As a sidenote, the shotguns are not very powerful: there is only one for each team, they have no spare clips, and do not respawn.

    The idea is that the team leader takes it and uses it when necessary, rather than for just raking in kills.

    the asthics look great and im pretty sure the long range battles would be epic. great job 10/10

    Long range battles are pretty intense, especially when you're desperately trying to hold your position waiting for one of the grenades to respawn.

    Anyway, for extra play, try out Conflict SWAT; its essentially the same gametype but with SWAT settings, and is pretty ****ing intense!

    Give it a try and let me know what you think; there is nothing that can't be changed for V2.
