Ons and Amp are the only two officially MLG supported maps. I've seen dozens of maps that top amp and ons whether it be playability, idea, originality, and other attributes. I think MLG and/or bungie is jus scared to pick more cuz the maps have to be absolutely perfect. idk, what is everyone else's thought on this?
i could barely understand what you were trying to say because you made so many spelling errors. But what i got from it was that MLG are only using Onslaught and Amplified, yes they are the only ones they are using but.... They are look for new ones on a daily basis. They will only pick ones that are on the MLG website. Yes, there is better maps than Amplified but Onslaught is the mother of MLG forging. As you can tell most MLG maps created by the community resembles Onslaught.
I agree with the fact that I have seen some better maps the Onslaught and Amplified, although it isn't bungie accepting the maps, its MLG. And I also think the MLG maps do need to be perfect, otherwise it is not as interesting to play them. So in conclusion I do think MLG and Bungie need to add more MLG maps to the play list, although they need to be nicely made, and have arena like game play.
Well i have seen a few that are pretty neat and the idea is definitely there. I wish MLG would jus pick out some new maps cuz there are really some good ones out there.
I almost ignored this because of the terrible english but a new MLG map would have to be perfect, although the couple that have been featured were maginificent they'd have a few kinks which would not make them official MLG maps.
Two flag onslaught is great, I do think there are some better options for mlg than amp, but whatever.
honestly amp is amazing with its geomerging and what not in my opinion.. ons tho... i dont like to much.
ons, ctf= bad and as far as you all criticing my spelling, All i'm saying is from what i've downloaded here on the site, MLG shouldn't be limited to ons and amp. I've seen some pretty sweet maps here that might be able to be MLG.
I agree with you there Blaze, Amplified blew me away the first time I saw it. It is just such a beautiful map, forgwise.
Yea, there is a ton of interlocking. The first time i saw the map i didn't even beleive that it was really forged.
Theres more than just interlocking. What makes Amp so unique was that it didnt restrict itself to the boundaries of most other MLG maps, I love how its extended that little bit farther.
Lockdown would have been in v5 but it wasnt done yet, so they added AMP instead. Im pretty sure theyre gonna be taking out Amp and replacing it with Lockdown in the next update
not true. Lockdown is money glitched, bungie doesn't support money glitched maps so it won't be on the mlg playlist, the main reason mlg avoids them. Also, before mlg knew about the money glitch thing they asked nexn and kronic smoke to make some changes, and when they opened it (after a month) they realized they got money glitch ****ed, were items just disappeared so they were screwed anyway.
Yea, Im pretty sure its not. They were trying to make a new map for the circuit so they didnt glitch it on purpose
