G-S13 (Gravitational Structure 13) xX5w33ny70ddXx Supported Gametypes: Default Slayer Variants Default CTF Variants Default Assault Variants Map Description Hey, this is my first completed map submitted to FH. My first map at attempting interlocking was a larger version of this one, but it failed. After some practice, I decided to give it another go, and came out with this. The G-S13, is a tribute to a multiplayer map of one of my favorite original Xbox games, Star Wars: Republic Commando. I can't find the disk but to my knowledge the map was named G-13. Although the multiplayer never caught on or was that great, this map was amazing, in the sense, that (in comparison to my map) instead of having "Man Cannons", the space in between was near-zero gravity, so if you jumped, you floated up and just basically floated around. My friend and I loved to jump by eachother with shotguns, and shoot the other in mid-air, and watch their body slowly drift away. Well obviously I couldn't recreate that, and the map was actually much larger, and I can't find any reference pictures, but I placed weapons in similar and original places, from the actual map, from Maulers, to Battle Rifles This map took some time to make, mostly to keep people from getting out, and for one of my first attempts at geo-merging and interlocking, it was hard to make things near perfect, but this is what I got, and am glad with the results. QUICK STATS: Glitches Used- -Infinite Money Glitch -Interlocking -Geo-merging SYMMETRICAL PLAYERS - 2 to 8 players ___Screen Shots______________________________________________ *Note*There is a wall to keep people from getting out. Blue Base/Red Base - As you can see, it is symmetrical. The center wall/structure, with a hole in the top for the sniper/rocket spawn. The Man Cannon takes you to the other side. A Machine Gun Turret that is left unwatched can be brutal. ___WEAPON PLACEMENT________________________________________ KEY: 1. Shotgun 2. Energy Sword 3. Mauler 4. Frag Grenades x2 5. Assault Rifle 6. Fire Bomb Grenades x2 7. Carbine 8. Battle Rifle 9. Plasma Grenades x2 10. Spike Grenades x2 11. Spiker 12. SMG 13. Machine Gun Turret 14. Plasma Rifle 15. Sniper Rilfe 16. Rocket Launcher 1st Level 2nd Level *Note that starting spawns are unique for each gametype* Top level Sniper and Rocket spawn 1 min apart from each other, providing a switch of power weapons. ___FINAL______________________________________________________ The map is mainly 2-8 players, though 6 seems like the fairest number. It's a small map, with several unique geographical structures. Cover is abundant, but you can never be fully protected. Featuring mostly close-to medium range weapons, strategy as a team is key, or movement on your feet when alone. Due to it's small nature, going from side to side doesn't take too long, but the "Man Cannons" can get you from side to side almost instantly, but also are narrow in their path. It's all about keeping you're side protected, while pushing the enemy toward you. So, keep you're guard up, and have fun. Please, leave a review below, it would be much appreciated. the map looks really good but the most distinguishing features is the mancannons and the big X in the middle
Really good aesthenics, i like the four boxes that make the diamond. you could prob merge stuff a little better to run smoother though ya know?
holy poop was the first thing i said when i saw the first picture. The center pice looks amazing and that's just it. Looks playable and fun! Keep up the good work!
Very nice map, I agree that the man cannons are the distinguishable items on this map and they make game play really interesting. Good job with this map
Thanks ^^ Well, I think the most bumpy stuff is the geo-merged boxes, and those were a *****. The "Shove it down with another box" technique never works for me, the boxes disappear into the ground, so I had to use the door method, but it's hard to keep that stuff even. Thanks anyways. Yes! Someone else who knows it! Sadly, I feel like I did that great map shame, but then again, what could I do? =/ Haha, thank you. Ya, those cannons were one of the first things I did on this map after getting the boxes all set. And that X was hard to pull off, but I think it looked good. I like the pic. Yay =D Another download.
