thank you! I was going for that feeling where your away from the main combat that takes place between bases and in bases, but also close enough to where you dont have to walk across the level. Actually its more like walking a quarter of the level
Like I've said before, Its only sloppy from the pics, and you can't really tell that the WALLS are sloppy from ingame
Amazing! I just went around this map in Forge and it is a truelly amazing idea, and very original! Good work!
I love the Asymmetrical layout you've built here. They are very hard to accomplish and it looks as though you've done a good job with it. I agree that the wall could use a little tweaking, just to make it a bit neater. I recommend facing all the boxes in the exact same direction, and that will fix the height differences you're getting. Other than that there isn't really anything negative about this map visually. Hopefully spawns will work well, but this looks like a very successful map. Keep up the great work!
i may just come out with a v2 to fix the walls, to visually please of course, they do not affect gameplay. Also the spawns work fine and i have tested each gametype and placed all starting points in the map (which are usually the culprits when you spawn outside the map on other maps.)
thanks man. this map is really underrated. just try it, who cares if the walls arent interlocked, it doesnt effect gameplay. and im talking about walls as the sides of the map, not the ones you walk one.
great map. like the layout and im sick of seeing so many symetrical maps so its good to see a non-symmetrical one for once
the interlocking kood be a bit smoother but the vastness of this map do impress. this looks good for snipers. oh yea and if you want to connect two boxes by a corner like the 5th and 6th pictures back wall, what i do is get a wall, fence wall, or a bridge and bring it all the way to the edge of the first box, then just bring your second box the the edge of the item your messering with, and you know thats the edge of the unspawned box. or maybe it looks like you planned it, maybe im just crazy!
i didnt try to interlock the walls because i was running out of materials to try to close off the level. i think i have something like 2 single boxes left out of all the immovable objects, so thats why i didnt interlock the walls. but i interlocked all the stuff you walk on (bridges, boxes, stairs, walls) and it all is very smooth.
thank you. someone who actually looks at this map for gameplay and not at how perfectly the walls are placed
