Ok, I use the beach on Last Resort for this map. Please give me feedback, pros and cons, what you liked and didn't like, etc. Download Omaha Beach There is a one bomb type gametype called Op Overlord that is used to play the map. The Bomb Carrier has overshield but only has 50% speed. This gives the turrets on the seawall a fair shot to kill, but there are plenty of objects to hide behind and take cover. EDIT- Ok the weapons are: Battle Rifle-Start Assault Rifle-Start 3x Machine Turrets 1x Sniper Not many weapons for a small map, because either you won't survive long enough to use it all, or the round will be over before you use it all. Also I wanted it to be a realistic D-Day experience, so I only added weapons similar to the ones they had on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944 (Tommy Gun-AR BAR/M1-BR MG42-Turrets Sprinfield/Scoped Kar98k-Sniper Rifle). yea, you should check out that sticky on the requirements for posting. aside from that, i checked out your link. judging from that picture and from your description, it doesn't seem very original. it's just like storm the beach with a lot more cover. although forging this kind of map is fun (i've done it before, and it didn't get very many downloads), people generally like creativity and complex forging. but, don't get me wrong. it's good to start forging from here. everyone's got to start somewhere. since this is your first map post, i'd give it around a 3/5. ps - get some more pictures for your map forum over at bungie.net.
Good to see you got pics up. to be quite honest though, it looks like pretty much every D-day map made on Zanzibar that I've seen thus far.

Guys, please try and be nice to the new forgehubbers. When I was new, I didn't go and say, Oh, I think I'm going to check the posting standards to make sure I embed my pictures. He doesn't know about double posting, so just one person tell him and leave it alone, please. I know that sometimes you type a comment about double posting or not meeting standards just as someone else does, but that's ok.
Well for this kind of map it's really imparative that there are pictures, because there is already a D-Day map for Last Resort. I want to know if this is different or really similar.

Sorry, I don't know how to help you there. If I were you, I'd try going to photobucket's troubleshooting or help page or whatever.
Alright... If you have photobucket then upload you pictures to the site -copy the "direct link" -return to your post and hit the add image button -post the link -make sure it is cleared when you paste so there aren't two http// -sometimes only one picture will work so press preview post and then repeat

Looks pretty cool, every once in a while you just have to have a big mosh pit destruction war. I'd try it out but my queue is full.
