Lol.But this does sound like an amazing discovery.Maybe time travel could come out of this or something of the sort, but hopefully it isn't dangerous like some people beleive. But if a scientist named David Francis said this

    Then I'll belive it.

I think time travel should actually be left alone , or left to only the MOST RESPECTED people on the planet because it could only spell trouble if left to anyone...

You know, the LHC is actually a gigantic nuke launching railgun.

I think this has been posted before, but I don't know where.

You build one atom smasher in your skull shaped volcano lair and the liberal media is all over you. This is the mutant cyborg super soldiers all over again

I wonder how something like this would effect the human biology. or any organism for that matter... On the other hand, if it smashes stuff into crazy dimensions i am going to build one to make milk shakes.

I really don't inderstand what the point of this machine is.

I'm seriously looking forward to the results.

Being a bit of a physics nerd, i'm all for the experimentation and looking into the origins of the universe.

The point of the machine is to try to recreate the conditions around the time of the Big Bang and then use a specially made 100 megapixel camera to take detailed images of the occurrence.

Basically they're gonna smash some particles together at 0.99 times the speed of light.
If a black hole were to exist because of it, the chances are that it would disappear before it became large enough to see.

Good thing I won't be around at the time of testing. Knowing my luck, that one in 50 million 'end of the world' would happen, heh.
