Will the surprise be that Cold Storage will be released free for one day only?

 

Well it's the only new map they have been talking about and a lot of free things are coming on 7/7 , so I say free Cold Storage for everyone yah!

 

yeah but itll never be played if its up for only a day...less than half the peeps'll have it

 

I imagine they will put a price on it after that day, or they won't make it downloadable again until the new map pack. I can see this Cold Storage thing happening because Bungie wouldn't hype up gamerpics and themes this much... wait... they would. Other than a new map, the only other thing that I would care about is a new patch that fixes the BR. If the Cold Storage thing does go down, it being free would take away some of the bitterness from them messing up another remake.

 

Check around on the maps, there will be a one day easter egg, im sure of it

 

Didnt they state in that update that the halo 3 patch did FIX the Br?
They were talking about how it was never intended to be an all range death machine.
The spreads annoying nowadays and all that "bullet travel time" on most weapons is the cause of most lag but i still value my br higher than an Ar and i thought tht was the point of it.
Whats wrong with it that needs fixing?

I expect Double exp for Head to head, swat and DLC slayer for 48 hours well thats what I can derive from that code.

They never fixed it, but when they made the game, that is what they intended. I just wish they would fix the randomness of BR fights, which would make the game a lot more competitive, and it would actually make SWAT bearable.

 

Everyone get's recon armor, finally. That's my theory lol, probably won't happen but you never know!

If I'm not mistaken COld Storgae will be released by Bungie Day. But if we acquire 7 billion campaign kills we get it instantly. I also heard they'll have pics and theme for free only for Bungie Day.
