Well, I started playing Halo 1 the day it came out when I was 7 (not to mention my cousin played when he was 4). I think I'm not going to turn into a maniac anytime soon, and neither is my cousin. Its alien and human blood, oh teh noes!
I think there needs to be an option to select certain ages groups to allow yourself to be matched up with that way anyone who hates having their ears bleed because Timmy want you to "VETO,VETO,VETO" can just eliminate any gamer in that particular age group. This would however also eliminate the genuinly good gamers in that age group thus limiting your online experience. It would be a small price to pay so that you don't have to purchase a hearing aid before the age of 25.
Yea lil kids are annoying. Id'e say 13+ is alright (coz i'm 13) but it's not just the little kids that are bad. Little kids tend to just be annoying, making little girlish noises and complaining about things whereas older people can be just as bad. I always hear 15 and 16 year olds being really immature and generally taking the piss out of little kids even if there not being irritating. I think little kids are irritating but older teenagers can be offensive. I also thing older people argue about where you live more e.g. American: you little **** Brit, go have some tea English: you little **** Yank, go have some burgers. But... it's xblive and it will always be like this, it's the same as any other multiplayer game or console or whatever.
i personally think kids under 12 shouldnt play, because the are introduced to sick sick words and phrases, almost instantly..... i think the mature rating should be changed too 14+ like this,
I think that kids could play halo cause it isn't all that bad. the first halo is bad cause if you like step on a body, they bleed. The only thing in halo 3 is live and the pics. some pics are girls in bikinis acting like there drunk or something. I haven't really heard a single cuss word on single player. Plus forge opens up their mind a little bit
Im 11 and, Acually I play Halo,Halo 2, and Halo 3.I'm not violent or anything and I still extremely good in school.(I'm in the gifted program and make straight A's)Yes I do agree that it should be rated T, even though i'm not even 13, lol.So, what are your views? -Magekid211
I personally think Halo should be rated Teen. It is rated M probably because of blood, the plot which is a little deep, and violence of course. My opinion though: kids shouldn't really play Halo and other M Games till they are around 13. I have no problem with them playing it at someone else's house, but I didn't get halo till i was 13.
there ya go! virtual hi5 for you! yes completely agreeable, kids shouldn't play online but offline is perfectly okay its the onlineliness thats bad for them SO OFFLINE FOR KIDS: AND ONLINE FOR KIDS:
I think playing rated M games depends on what it is. Like kids really shouldn't play something like grand theft auto 4 until at least around 13 or 14, by then you hear about the kind of stuff thats on the game anyways. Halo 3 on the other hand is different. The game itself is perfectly fine, its just that kids shouldn't play online till they are around 13.
I posted this before but i don't remember if anyone caught it. I think there should be an option to select what age group of people you play online with that way you can block the kids under a certain age and only play with people that are of a more mature age group.
guess what? I was playing halo 2 sense It came out and I was 10 then. Do the math and figure out how old i am now.
I see your points, although there are some great child players out there, take LiL POiSoN for example. But at the same time, everyone hates the Sqeekers! They do not intend to play the game, but instead criticize it with their poor vocabulary, and lack of speech that contributes to a complete mess coming out of their mouth, in there high pitched voices that is... I respect every player out there, young or old, no matter how high, or low your voice is. Although if you intend to complain about the game, or how someone killed you then I, and many more people out there will never play with you...So I leave it to you to decide to Hate with player...
I think that kids should be able to play what their parents believe they are ready for. The ESRB is just a guideline. People should not blame games (or TV) for corrupting kids. It is the parents fault for using video games (or TV) as a baby-sitter. I do think that kids should wait till they are 14 before playing some M games.
