I was messing around in foundry and i noticed that if you put a regenerator next to a man cannon, it has a larger area around it where it will launch you, mostly around the end of it. I was wondering how i might use this in a puzzle map. (since the effect is hard to describe you can test it out by playing pallet parade and use a regenerator by the bottom of the conveyor belt next to the man cannon) Sorry if i can't describe it very well.
Sounds pretty cool to me! Now, exactly what do you mean by a larger area where it will launch you? Does that mean it will shoot you off further or to a different angle, or you don't need to step as far into the cannon to get launched?
you don't need to step as far into the cannon, but it works better on the side you usually don't launch from
hmm maby a mancannon suraunded by fences in a room whit 1 hole and 1 regenerator and you would need to put the regenerator near the mancacnnon to get the fly away effect (dunno if it would work) Hope i helped
it works, I've seen it done on other maps. this could work for lots of other maps, maybe even competetive maps.

I'll test it later on, and post my findings. EDIT: HOLY F**K! It works, if you are standing in front of a mancannon and throw a regen on the ground, you will fly. I'm going to upload a video of it in a few hours/a day
elevatorh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW1nEXZ1wxI props to whoever made that....used in my maps.....very effective technique it works perfectly just use one mancannon on each side instead of two, cuz its a waste so i made one with 4 elevators instead of just one with four mancannons!!!
oh thats how that guys elevator worked on youtube... now i get it. but nice find ive never thought of putting a regenerator near a man cannon lol good job
