This map was specifically designed for 1v1 matches. I've had a couple of 3 player FFA games and they were not pretty. It's a very small map, so naturally the spawns are going to be a bit unstable. I've set it up for most gametypes (territories is the only exception I can think of ATM) but I wouldn't recommend anything other than slayer, as objective 1v1s don't tend to play out very well... At least from my experience anyway. To give you a mental image, it is basically a slope with 2 pockets on the side. There is also a small pit right in the middle with a man cannon that provides quick transport to the top level. this map is very small but well made i love the layout of it. the gameplay is hectic but fun nice interlocking 5/5
An overhead or layout might help. Typically, I don't like mancannon's, but your's might end up being good implementation especially if its like, drop in the hole and shoot out.
I like this map better than other one on one maps. The other ones are more enclosed and this one is more open. Will download.
judging by the pictures it looks like a very small map. i like the symmetry but am left wondering where and what the weapons are
I originally had a grav lift, but that would only get you just high enough and sometimes not even that, making you have to get off the grav lift and try again. With a man cannon it's 100% guaranteed to get you up the top, though you are suspended mid air for a small amount of time, but that's the price you have to pay for taking the quick route. If there was some kind of medium between a grav lift and man cannon then I would definitely have used that instead. I had a list but I remember changing them around a bit, so it might be outdated. I'll be sure to update this thread when I get on my 360 and can check exactly which weapons are on there, how long the respawn is and how many extra clips for each weapon. I can guarantee there are 6 BRs, 2 Carbines, 1 Sniper, 1 Mauler, 2 SMGs and 2 Brute shots.
Well he did say it was 1v1 or 3 ffa so it looks great for that i enjoy seeing these maps although i do prefer bigger sized ones
this map looks small but dfinetly looks very nice. you did a very good job on interlocking! nice job!
i love it it looks fun to play with like 3 or 4 people and the interlocking was amazing nice layout and weapon placement too so ya nice job
Although its a small map i quite like it. Maybe if you added a few more pics (E.g action pics) and a weapon list it will help 'explain' the map a little more and even might gain more popularity. Definately not critisising the map, it looks fantastic and i love it 5/5
The map seems a tad bit small for my taste, but it's still very-well forged and clean. Good work, I may give it a DL in a bit.
4 People would be pretty intense. You'd definitely be getting some bad spawns and have to be on your toes all the time. One thing that I tried to achieve with this map is to make it have no where to run to, forcing people to go all out 100% of the time. I think I've achieved this with the exception of one spot up the top where I've half submerged an open box with the floor, allowing you to crouch underneath. This pretty much cripples you though, since you don't have a good angle to shoot from leaving you with grenades being your only way to defend yourself.
this reminds me of something i made, although asymetrical. hopefully you all will see it soon. ill give it a download and see how it is.
