Plaza is my second map designed solely for competitive CTF play lists (though it does support all gametypes). It is a very open map designed around a central square( or plaza), where most of the action takes place. Right in the centre is an Energy Sword, in the boxes either side is a Needler and in the boxes above them is a Carbine. A the T junction next to the Sword is a Regenerator, under it lies a Grav Lift. Toward the opposite end is an Active Camouflage and a Spartan Laser is housed in the box above it. Between these and the sword is a Trip Mine on the bottom floor.

The main bases are at each end of the plaza, they are protected by a turret and have 3 methods of entry; straight through the front door, the gap in the fencing of the plaza (which also provides access to the plaza for the base defenders) and from the highest floor, which can only be accessed from the other end of the map or by using the Grav lift. The bases have a few pieces of cover along with Battle Rifles. In the back corner lies a permanent lift of gravity, which will take a player up two storeys to the bridge that lies over the base (it works by just walking into it, though jumping helps).

Teleporters in the plaza link to the side rooms of Foundry. They are sealed off by Window Panels and have a lot of cover down the pathway, with a Bubble Shield in the archway. On the balcony outside is a Sender Node linking back to the plaza.

Just outside each Base is a Ghost and a Mongoose. Only the Mongoose can get through the barrier protecting the centre, whilst the Ghost is forced around the corner, making it easier for the defenders to protect against it.

This is summarised very neatly by the following screen shots:

Looks good, I think a Mosh Pit right in plaza,-on the sword platform maybe-, would be really cool, ecspecially with all the catwalks from which people would shoot. Looks like a pretty good CTF map too.

Yeah it was made for CTF, but works quite well with all team gametypes.

You should flip the bridges upside down, it looks a lot nicer. Other than that, I really think that this would be fun to play on. 4.5/5

They're not floating, they are locked into the boxes, and the scenery was meant to give people a chance of crossing the map without being shot down.

I've found that if you do that there's a kind of 'bump' when walking along.
