Okay in one of my 5 current forge projects one of which is a Pokemon Classes map on Avalanche. Unlike the others, the majority of this map's creation will be in the planning. The construction of the map will not be too tricky but what I'm having a little bit of trouble with is deciding which pokemon to use and what to give them. I want to have at least 16. The gametype I'm planning is going to be Slayer, juggernaut does not provide starting points, so it has become FFA Slayer. I've decided on the custom powerup's usage, it'll provide a speed boost. There are numerous possibilities to set it out. But what I'm thinking right now is having everyone start over the edge and fall to their death. This will be done so that I can utilize the respawn traits. And have every one start and die and respawn in isolated little rooms containing their pokemon's weapons/equipment then either teleporters or man cannos for their entrance into the battlefeild. The respawn traits will allow me to make sure people stick to their pokemon. For possibly 30 seconds after respawning the player then, and only then will be able to pick up weapons.Oh, also everyone will start with either a plasma pistol or magnum and everyone, all of the time, will have unlimited ammo. One more thing, rather important: I will probably not use the entirity of Avalanche, I'm planning on doing it with half of the map blocked off. All of that stuff will be looked into farther into creation but right now I want to get down all of the pokemon I'll have. I want to try and get at least 16 and make sure that it is balanced. I also want to get a variety of pokemon not just heaps of a certain type. Confirmed Pokemon (can still be changed, nothing is 100% right now) Magmar – Mauler, BR, Spike Nades, Firebomb. Mewtwo - Beam Rifle, Sword, Plasma Nads, Regen. Venusaur – Fuel Rod Gun, Needler, Regen. Pikachu – CP, Power Drain, Sentinal Beam, Spartan Laser. Blastoise – SMG, Rocket LawnChair, Plasma Nades Gengar – Camo, Radar Jammer, Carbine, Plasma Nades. Sandslash – Needler, Sword, Spike Nades, Trip Mine. Onix - Oversheild, Hammer, Brute Shot. Jolteon- CP, spiker, sentinal beam, flare. Machamp - BR, Hammer, 2 Frags. Rapidash - CP, Firebombs, Spike Nades, Frags, Shotgun, Sentinal Beam, Power Drain Voltorb - Shotgun, Spartan Laser, Frags, Trip Mine Hitmonchan - Grav Hammer, AR, Frags, Plasma Nades, Spike Nades, Firebombs Tentacruel - Carbine, Rocket, Radar Jammer, Spike Nades Mr. Mime - Bubble Sheild, Plasma Nades, Sniper, Needler Pidgeot - CP, BR, Sword, Grav Lift, Spike Nades I'm willing to alter/remove any of them. With your suggestions, keep in mind the limitations of forge and the number of weapons that can be placed. AND THAT I WILL NOT USE ANY POKEMON FURTHER THAN #151 The map will be made on Avalanche, the picture below shows where this map will be set out. The Dark area is the area that will be inaccessible. Unless that is where people spawn in an isolated area with their weapons and equipment and a teleporter taking them to the battle ground. If you want to help on this, let me know, I'm willing to accept to any help offered to me. I HAVE JUST STARTED CONSTRUCTION ON THE MAP ITSELF. RIGHT NOW, WHAT I WANT TO MAKE SURE OF IS THAT I AM ABLE TO HAVE ALL OF THE POKEMON, SO I'LL BE PLACING ALL OF THE WEAPONS, SO RIGHT NOW THE FIRST THING I'LL BE DOING IS THE "BORING" PART. Okay, the pokemon listed above are the Pokemon. Chances are if you suggest one, it'll be rejected unless it is full of win. What I'd like to hear is suggestions for the map itself.
I have considered Charizard, he was the first I thought of but sometimes weapons dont instantly respawn and I'm only able to place 1 flamethrower, if they drop the flamethrower, they wont be able to pick it up. I appreciate the thought and suggestion but sadly Charizard probably wont make an appearance. I'm disappointed by that, but in the long run believe it'll function better without him. Charmeleon may be in it though, but its just not the same.

No it'll be like a normal FFA game. Flow right through in one round. Unlimited lives Each time you die, you respawn as a new pokemon.
ok fair enough. well then Jolteon- CP, spiker, sentinal or spartan laser, power drain or flare. i found out that Jolteon is faster than the other dogs by a fair bit thanks to POKEMON STADIUM!
I'd like to hear them. But as for the map itself, I've barely done anything, just pushed an open box into one of the Avalanche bases and placed a few Energy doors. As I said most of the time spent on this will probably be the planning.
Okay, I've added a few more pokemon to the list although I think Metapod and Magikarp may not end up being used. Also I've now added that I will not do any pokemon beyond 151.
you should let vileplume have the plasma pistol for its move obsorb/mega drain. Machamp- gravity hammer(seismic toss), rocket launcher
For the Spawns you should have little boxes made out of those walls with windows and have the weapon spawn in the rooms and also have man cannons that shoot each player to a different part of the map.
Cool I've been looking for one to have the hammer, but I'm not sure about Machamp having the rocket as well. Maybe instead of the rocket Machamp could have a BR. So.. Machamp - BR, Hammer, 2 Frags. I like it.
