Description: A map designed for 1 sided games primarily, it may work with multi flag. To the back of the map is where the defenders base lies, it is not up against the back, thus creating a neat little back area that benefits both teams; the base itself is fairly open with minimal cover, however it is linked to areas with cover. The side of the base has a garage that holds 2 mongi, but also contains lots of explosives, the garage is covered by a turret. The ghost is to the side of the base(Blocked off area). The attackers base is fairly simple. It holds a warthog and a mongoose and has a fairly simple layout(Will be shown in pic). The center is fairly open so that vehicles can drive through with ease, however the pillbox and the OS offer some nice cover. The rocket structure is parallel to the main base in the corner. The two brute shots will be the defender's best anti vehicle weapon, one is behind the base in a small nook and one is in the middle next to the merged door. Changes: Added a "teleporter barrier", cover that lets vehicles and people pass through, but not bullets and nades. Fixed spawns Took away some dumpsters Merged most buildings into the wall Increased turret respawn to 90. You can't travel around the top anymore. looks like a nice layout, and the interlocking looks real clean, but it just looks really bare. i think it needs some higher ground and cover... i dont know what you could do with it, but i just get that feel from it.
THERE ARE 5 VEHICLES ON THE MAP, if I put anymore cover in the map they won't be able to drive! I have tested the map quite a bit, there is enough cover and structures, it is a CTF map, people aren't meant to be buried in cover and hiding in buildings, they're meant to be in vehicles and running around.
holy crap! i like that box merged with the wall, that is sweet. other than that, everything is so cool and smooth, i wanna download it now, but i am at the 100 item limit. maybe there is a way around the limit........
much better then the previous. i had a custom gamenight today and i encluded your map and it is very well playable. (it came in 2nd in the votes out of 23maps)
No offense, but this looks like you made a couple structures, but nothing in between because you wanted vehicles to be useful. Vehicles never do well in Foundry unless there is absolutely no cover on the ground, which is what you have here.
There is enough cover, I will tell you again, you can get across if you are on foot, I have tested it, you have not. Spammy.
err HPM, you tend to test your maps with screaming 8 yr olds.... i dunno how useful their input is. Also, people will keep complaining about lack of cover because it honestly looks like it, no matter how well it plays with what you have, people will not be satisfied because the pics don't show the gameplay. that's sadly the way it is...
the map looks really nice ill have to download it and give the gameplay a test. and then report back to you on my thoughts. =D
You might wanna say a little more btw anyways nice map the two bases look cool and clean the gameplay looks like it would be fun will dl and see what it is like besides the pics but so far nice job.
wow this pretty nice Wii, its cool to see more maps on foundry made with vehicle play in mind. That big base looks pretty frigging sweet I like the dub box rampness. Btw I finished/posted Sanction ;D Lol
Very good looking map, it seems to have a different style. I'm relieved to finally see a non square map today. A lot of time has gone into this and it has been worth it. 5/5
