BRUTE BURNOUT First there was Rocket Race now there is Brute Burnout FOR ADVANCED PLAYERS ONLY! "STOP THE THEATRICS!" Created & Forged by Vicious Vice Special Thanks to LIGHTSOUT225 & G043R Inspiration: That is quite simple I'm an avid Rocket Racer and i always want to play it on Foundry. Since rocket launchers are just to powerful for such a small arena and I'm an advocate of the bruteshot it was quite simple to just mix both. I also wanted to make a multi-level area focusing more on the vertical than horizontal. Description: The arena is perfectly symmetrical with 3 seperate floors. The first floor has 4 ramps and 2 large sets of stairs to help you reach the second floor. On the first floor there are many colums and signs to protect you from incoming bruteshots the draw back is that it requires precise navigation. The second floor is completly open and hold a pallet bridge on each side, man-cannon to transfer you from side to side. The 2nd floor also has 2 "wave bridges" made of of fences to help you reach the 3rd floor which is miniscule compared to the other floors. Messing up on reaching the 3rd floor usually end with you falling to the ground below. Information: Each team is made up of 2 players and a maximum of 4 teams. (Teams MUST be Red, Blue, Green or Orange) Every VIP starts with a bruteshot, 2 spike grenades, a bubble shield and 1 mongoose. (use it wisely) Anti-Grief System: Since grieving is such a problem in Rocket Race ive taken time to stop this in Brute Burnout. 1st the VIP is invunerable has 50% speed and 200% gravity which means you wont be jumping to get the out of reach desination. 2nd The VIP Proximity Traits, as long as your driver is near the VIP he is also invulnerable. But, if the driver is more than 10 meters away he will turn white, gain a waypoint above him (visible to everyone) and be vulnerable to attack. So remeber if you get knocked off your mongoose focus on finding it and your teammate, it could mean the difference between victory and death. <DOWNLOAD BRUTE BURNOUT GAMETYPE> <DOWNLOAD THE HIPPODROME> The first destination is not a simple one. You start in one of the corners of the 1st floor and must rush to the top of the 3rd floor. Good Luck! The stairs are the quickest way to get to the second floor An alternate ramp to the second floor The man-cannon is quite precise but go in it to fast and you'll hit the wall and lose speed. The pallet bridge set to respawn every 30seconds. One well placed spike grenade and the bridge is gone. The high flying destination of the "wave bridge". Not for the weak of heart. BLOOPERS Vicious Vice failing to reach the 1st destination. No pallet? No problem. Just a quick boost and its yours. As you know, I love it, it reminds me of Mario Kart. I still want to try thgis out on Rats Nest or Standoff.
looks good but im not a fan of race maps so im nto going to DL plus im running close to my map limit yet again. But as a race mnap this is one of the best ive seen so great job plus it was constructed very well.

Looks epic, love the idea and great forging on the map, you got my dl an overview of the map would be good tho.
When I read a little and found out what this was, I got excited, it seemed really cool. Then I thought about the fact that it is on Foundry, I got sad. Then I looked at the pictures and I'm happy again. yay! Thanks for not making it too crowded, that's what I was scared of. Good job on this. From pics, 10/10. I really like how you don't how you don't need to watch your speed. This is the best multi-destination pointed foundry racing map I have ever seen! 5/5. The gametype is an added plus, it sounds very well done. Edit- 444 post! *does the happy dance*
This map looks incredible. I actually like the brute shots better than the rockets because they are fun to use for boosts and dont send you to the other end of Sandtrap. The interlocking and geo-merging are spot on. This should be a featured map and gametype someday.
Nice, dude! Awesome concept! The brute shot is just perfect for this. It's not too powerful and it can be strategically used in-game other than shooting at other players. This looks super fun. After I get rid of all the versions of my new map, I will be sure to Download. 5/5 from me, excellent forging, excellent creativity. Solid.
I've always wanted there to be a brute shot race rather than a rocket race. rockets are a little too crazy. Great map 4 sure.

I'm usually not a race map fan, but since its a non linear race map and, it's from vicious, I'll give it a shot.
I got another game on this Yesterday Vice and I love it. It's seams the Brute shot is more balanced the said Rocket Launcher for what is called "Rocket Race". I find rocket race to be tedious at times because all I get is Sandtrap : (. I love rocket race on Valhalla and Standoff because it is more tight and harder to move, you know that I'm not the best driver but I make quite the good VIP SOMETIMES. I cant wait for more Brute Burnout maps in the coming Future. o/ vice for making the first Race I have ever commented on in my history of Forge Hub.
