BUNGIE.NET TOPIC Bungie.net : Community : Forum Topic Listing : Forum Reply Listing I'd just like to sart out by saying my map got 3000 downloads when i posted it in 2 days, then it was locked from posting for no reason and since that time it has made it to 5468 w/o being posted in for bump! so at the bottom of the list it has been noticed. it also has 4 stars with 100+ ratings. I invented "the elevator" in this map. The type that uses a crate and a grav lift. here is the description as i posted it on bungie. PICTURES ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST! This map is a two story mall, with an L shape to it. It has stores, that each have their own theme, whether it be human weps, covenant weps, spartan laser of 2 shot rocket launcher. Each room has its own purpose. One room, where the ESCALATOR is has a shotgun and you can grab that then go up the escalator directly into a store. There is also an ELEVATOR on this map. One team spawns by escalator, the other spawns by the elevator. how they work: for the escalator you simply walk into the bridge and it shoots you up via hidden man cannon just to the top, so u don't fly over it, just enough power to get you to the top. really cool effect. As for the elevator, there is a huge prism the size of a crate, where there is a crate at the bottom and grav lift in front of it. you grab the grav lift, jump on the crate, and throw it straight down. then either hold forward or jump to go onto the second floor. it lifts you all the way up. There is one of the cars(gauss hog) that are raffled off in malls in the middle on the L where the corner of an L is. it is on a platform just high enough so that once you drive off of it you can easily fit under it, which makes for clean driving. Upper level is very good for side to side gun battles, because one side of the L you cant jump to the other side, so you have to go around. can't really explain just play and you'll see. So much more, but i don't have the time to list. This map works for ALL GAMETYPES. he just needs pics gosh give him a break i hate these kind of people you just need to get pics from halo 3 of your map yeah then go to image stacker or what ever and get the pics on there so they are embedded cause trust me people WILL notice and its fustrating i wish we could all forge in peace lol, are you then allowed a link or not This is a well cool map as well i don't no why it was locked but it shouldn't have i love it, i agree with you it is a cool map it also reminds me of dead rising game lol
No one cares if it has 5000+ DLs or 4 stars, or at least not in the thread title. This is not bnet. Change it to The Mall only. Also, embedded pictures are a requirement.
u must change your name of the map to just the title of the map, to be fair or else a mod will come in and change it or lock this thread... only trying to help!
Actually according to forge hub rules, you must have at least one embedded picture. I do agree with the hateful remarks towards maps when they do not contain pics such as 'no pics no clicks' or '0/5 you don't have pictures' why would their map be worse because they contain no pictures? I believe in constructive criticism towards not having the pictures, like telling them the rules and showing them where to learn how to embed photos onto forgehub forum. Also don't say hateful things like 'We don't care that you had 5000 + downloads or 4 stars, don't put it in the title of the forum!' Instead tell him that according to forgehub rules only the map name may be included in the title. Explain that this is not like posting maps on Bungie.net, so it is much different, and offer to the new member a tutorial on how to navigate through forge hub. No more pointless hate, please? Thank you, now onto the topic at hand. ON TOPIC: I've downloaded this map before it was added to forgehub and I love it, it's so much fun! Especially for infection! (Yeah totally liking it for the Dead Rising feel!) It's well made and weapon placement in stores is very clever, like they are on display. The Gauss Warthog on display is hilarious! I would rate this map a 5/5 because it is so much fun to play on, and contains a working escalator, elevator, and many different shops. keep up the good work, Happy Forging! ~Randle $candal

I agree, you shouldn't have. People just jump when they see an incorrect post. None of them realize that the thread has 24 hours to finish the thread. The map looks good, I'd give it a 4/5. And just to let you know you can edit the title, of the thread. Click edit, then click go advance, and you can change the title there
we only want to help the forgers and their maps, because elseway their maps get locked automaticilly after 24 hours so we're not bad guys. Nice map by the way.
Alright to change the title, just click "Edit Map" then go advanced, and then delete any part of the title not needed, so it just says: "The Mall" and guys, please stop spamming. Anyone who posted about pics after the first comment about pics is considered spamming and just as bad as a not finished post. You all more than likely messed up on first coming here, and you all are pretty new, don't rush to hate.
wow. not to be a bubble burster but this map doesnt deserve 500 DLs and a 4 star rating. most parts of the map seem open and very boring. and some parts also look a little messy. and please for the sake of all of us, change your obnoxious subject header to ONLY your map name
