    Intro::
    Club Impulse is the second installment of my 3 part map pack I’m calling the “True Swat Map Pack”. The reason behind this naming is not necessarily because the maps play best with SWAT, but because I will be releasing a campaign/story type thing around the release of the third map about a SWAT team (Hense the name TRUE SWAT).

    Club Impulse is made to look like a common dance club type place. Outside of the club there is a parking lot, which people can get into the air ducts from. The inside has the open looking dance floor and next to it are some rooms and a back stairway.

    My Focus::
    My focus for this map was to create my first map that Linubidix doesn’t comment, “Looks a tad bit sloppy”. I doubt I’ll accomplish this but hey, maybe someday. Just kidding. My focus was to create a really fun map to play on with 2-4 player teams. When I thought of the air ducts, I knew it would be a great map for infection too. Hopefully I’ve done a good job on weapon placement this time around because I really wanted to make that good as well.

    Description::
    The attackers start outside in the parking lot. From there they can either go in through the double doors in front or they can climb up to a vantage point and from that vantage point they can jump into the air ducts. The air ducts have two points where you are able to jump out of them and into the map. These air ducts make my map good for infection game types because of the fact that the zombies can sneak up there and surprise people.

    Defenders spawn inside the building part of the map. They can either run up the back stairway to get to a vantage point with windows or they can exit from either side of the building and enter the center of the club.

    This map plays best with 4 player matches because of the fact that it’s so open in the center and creates lots of action nearly all the time. I would say the maximum for the map is 8 players but I really wouldn’t recommend that many players with SWAT because it’s very hectic. You are probably fine playing infection with more than 8 players on this map though.

    Game types::
    ALL GAMETYPES ARE SUPPORTED (Even Juggernaught!!)

    I Recommend These Gametypes:
    - 2 on 2, or 3 on 3 Team Slayer
    - 2 on 2 Shotty Snipers
    - Pistol Zombies
    This is a game type I created with the idea of zombies going after slightly slower humans, Humans are armed with pistols and zombies have no shields. I recommend 5-10 players for this.
    - True SWAT VIP
    This game type is SWAT one sided vip. You have 1 minute to protect or kill the VIP, GO GO GO. You are allowed to pick up weapons in this and start only with a assault rifle, luckily I placed many many BRs on this map just for this game type. This is what will be played during the campaign story mode of my map pack. I recommend 6-10 players for this.
    - 2 on 2 SWAT
    - I a couple more game types I’m testing and will post them if they are fun.

    Weapon Layout::
    I changed the clips and respawn times for the best possible gameplay:

    -1 shotgun (no spare clips)
    -1 sniper (1 spare clip)
    -10 BRs (1 spare clip)
    -2 Carbines (1 spare clip)
    -8 Plasma Grenades
    - 8 Grenades
    -2 Regenerator (120 or 90 second respawn [can’t remember])

    it all looks kool but the bridges that are stairs looks the best. good job.

    This map looks well thought out, and it has good gametypes, id give you a 4/5 and tell you to continue forging and impress me some more :).

    This map has awesome aesthetics! I <3 this you have taken multi layering to a new dimension my friend good job, Only fault that I notice is that - I didnt think of this map first. Excellent I saw a thread about them bridge stairs and it really paid off nice work Dl for me 5/5 gj definatly doesn't look sloppy!

    Nice pictures they explain alot nice interlocking nice looks really fun also i wish i could play but i are not suppose to be playing when i get to play im gunna downlod if i can find good job tho 5/5

    Very, very professional. I like...everything.

    I usually try to maintain at least one point to improve each map, but I can't see any possible flaws from the pictures. That's either clever picture-taking, or brilliant Forging. Right now, I'm leaning towards brilliant Forging, but you've definitely gotta DL from me, and I'll let you know. Great job, bro.

    Great job, thee stairs really turned out looking very good. This map is awesome, don't get me wrong, but it looks like it is missing a "wow" factor. great job though

    Oh......my.......god!!! Dude this map is amazing! My favorite part has gotta be those stacked brides to create the stairs on your third pic. I tried that out on a map I was making on ghost town but you pulled it off waaaaaay better than I could even imagine. Also this looks like an infection map which doesn't seem too one sided so kudos to that.

    missing a wow factor?.....Well the bridge stairs got me wowed I'm going to dl just to see how smooth it is..

    Very nice interlocking, especially with those bridge stairs, looks like you'd need a lot of patience making those. Gameplay looks pretty solid, I don't see weapons but I'll assume that they're fine.

    Might have to agree with Lockdown on the lack of a "wow factor"/creativity. I'm seeing a lot of grey and green and it just looks a bit unexciting, maybe a couple aesthetic powerups as strobe lights for the dance club would lighten things up a bit.

    It just seems that for the theme you went for, you need liveliness, and it just isn't there. Don't know if you ran out of money or something, but a little decoration would do wonders for this map.

    Very nice: 8/10

    I just played on it with a few friends on it. The only thing I saw that could be made to look better were the boxes in the back. I would've hoped to see them geo-merged. Looking out the back, I realize that no one would ever look out that way, and it won't affect gameplay at all. I know all these things, but I'm just weird about things like that. Plus, I have to find something I don't like about every map in order to make it appear as if I don't want to make sweet, sweet love to both the map and the map-maker, regardless of the inlying truth in that statement.

    Yeah I'm suprised so many people like those bridges, I really didn't think of them as being a mainpoint for dling but whatever you guys like I guess.

    Thanks for the support, I'm really relieved to hear it doesn't look sloppy, many of my other maps don't look sloppy to me yet people still say they do so, thanks for the back up there.

    Dented Drum, I don't understand your name but I honestly respect your opinions more than many people on this site and think you are one of the most respectable poster's on the site + rep for you.

    Loved this post, I can't believe I didn't think of that strobe light thing, that's a great idea! I totally agree with you on the green and grey stuff and I'll try to incorporate your ideas in future maps/remakes of this map if I feel like remaking the map.

    I agree, one sided objective games would be fun and I'll try them out next time I have a custom party.

    reminds me of turf.it plays like a halo 2 map with halo 3 players.love it

    Lol I don't understand why everyone comments about the stairs and I'm deeply sorry for ruining your chances of being the first one.

    I don't really understand how it looks like turf but its funny that you say that because one of my other maps, store front, had similar comments to that. I really liked turf so I'm just gunnu say thank you.

    this map has probably the best aesthetics ive almost ever seen in a competitive maps. i love the bridges that are made to look like a little stair set.i also agree that custom power ups would brighten it up abit but other then that,wonderful job!5/5

    this map is pretty good as good as slayer gameplay goes im not sure though
