Original thread:Here Please reply and vote on the Bnet thread. So basically I'm saying that the bruteshot should be included in RR, but not replace the rocket launcher. Personally I believe that the bruteshot would put a new spin on the way RR is played, it can be used more tactically; you can use it to gain a little extra air in a jump as well as unbalance opponents. The rocket seems a little to powerful at times as well. Opinions? Arguments?
I have played it with Vicious Vice and LIGHTS, it was a lot of fun. I've always had this idea, I've just never thought of publicising it, then VV came out with it. It is brilliant.
You know, I've never actually played Rocket Race. I've searched for it like twenty times and have never found a game.
I said the same thing to myself a few times,but i think it should replace it imo. Rockets are just craziness.Maybe have two GAMETYPES in the playlist brutes and rocks

My Bruteshot Burnout is done. For all those of you who want to play RR with Bruteshote ur dream will come true. Im not releasing it just yet. I still need to work out some kinks
rocket race is alot of fun, but most of the time it pisses me off, theres always one team running around trying to kill everyone, or if you crash near another team who also crashed, everytime you try to get back on the mongoose, they shoot you and flip you :/ Brute shot would probably fix these problems or atleast make them not as bad not to mention making the races a whole lot more exciting. you can kind of give your ride a boost by firing your rocket at the ground behind you but its just not the same :[
A rocket's explosion is only a bit more powerful in terms of physics than the brute shot's one. and since you have six shots you can fire really fast, it will make the game even more chaotic, do you really want that?
well there is brute shots and then i downloaded this map where you can kill people and you have a splazer instead of a rocket. this could be fun except you would have to find people who actually abide by the rules *not my friends*
Maybe as a secondary. Rockets are great for heavy boosting over cliffs and bruteshots for people or even more boosting.
I dunno, there are a lot of occasions where you get stuck in a chaotic loop for minutes, and a Brute Shot would just be so annoying when you get the griefers ruining the game. How about Ranked Rocket Race? It'd be called Splaser Race.
well yeah if you replaced the rocket with a splazer and the brute shot was what you had to rely on that would probably balance it out, although lord mongoose would pwn us all! lol
then youre turning it into slayer.. which isnt racing at all.. and you might as well just ditch the gooses and just kill
hehe, wii360 owner got blacklisted, but i guess it would be a lot funner with bruteshots with the faster gameplay and reloading and what not. catch your breath, i know it was a long sentence well not really.
