the map looks pretty good its very differant but in a good way, it looks and prob is very fun and the idea is great, this must of taken u a while
I got in the zone one night and like half of the structure in one sitting. That's the most fun of making maps. To be honest, the map I enjoyed making the most was Shloopy, these kind of maps are so much fun to make, because they allow you to be so much more creative. But after construction, all of the little tweaks and such were what took the majority of the time making this. But it all payed off, I am very please with this map.
I am a great forger i only lack the master power of the abillity of patience (all i need to finally make a jaw dropping map if you have any suggestions on staying focused i would love to hear them every bit helps)
Music helps, generally I always play Halo3 with music on. I also dont like to make an entire map in one sitting. I make my maps bit by bit. The hardest part is starting, but once I've placed the first few items and have a rough idea of how it'll look, off I go. Patience is something a forger should have, I have patience for forge, most of the time. But I just prefer not to make maps in one sitting.
This map looks cool. And to jump into your topic about Forging, I do my best work late at night, like really late. So late in fact that you could call it early. Then I drop like a stone halfway through it and lose my idea so I scrap the whole thing.
I cant do that. I remember you showing me a birds eye view sketch of Falcion and it confused me. I cant get a good idea of a map's layout by a sketch or diagram, I need to see the map.
Its still not the same, I prefer to see pics of the map rather than rough diagrams to get an idea how its set out. The pics give me a rough idea of the layout and if it looks good enough to dl. Some maps, like the ABC Crew's dont really need much explanation on the layout but just pics of the construction.
