For those of you who are interested in MLG, Final Boss actually got beat in the Quarter Finals against Believe the H, who are they? It's Believe the H and Str8 Ripping in the Semi-finals, and Instinct and Classic in the other finals. The Live ChampionShip Bracket can be found here
No no, I had it on in the background and I was atching it on and off. And I remember seing bits and peices of Final Boss's TS game on Narrows. I just cant think of the name, I went through all the teams I coul.... Triggers Down. That's it. One guy got an 11 killing spree. No one from Final Boss had a positive K/D spread, they looked rather disappointed.
Final Boss were never as good at H3 than they were at H2. Walshy is their only moderately good player now. If he left they wouldn't stay Pro for long.
I have to disagree. Strongside and Ogre2 are incredible (Ogre1 seems to have fallen a bit) but they're still one of the best teams, I mean they won the last tournament. I did hear about them not preparing as much which means they can only blame themselves. Also they won last time despite being in the losers bracket, they're not out yet.
They'll probably win again, just like MeadowLands. But on another note, I'd probably say Ogre 1 is the best. But if Final Boss were as good as they were in H2, they wouldn't be in the loosers bracket. For San Diego or Meadowlands. But I think it will be Str8 Rippin, Classic in the finals.
Matty, the reason final boss doesn't seem to be as good as H2 is because the competition is so much tougher now, but they are still solid. Ogre1 hasn't really fallen. He has always been their support guy, and he was insane on Guardian Ball at Meadowlands against Carbon. Even though Strongside and Ogre2 are their main slayers, all players on their team can step into any role if they need them, which is a big part in why they are so good. Walshy is their mastermind and objective player and doesn't slay that much, but when it is crunch time, he is so clutch. Like I said in the Chillout thread, Believe the Hype is not a team of randoms. They are a team of great FFA players. Even though they still aren't a very good team, they finished top 8 a Meadowlands. Final Boss fell in the losers brackets last tourney too, so they are still the team to beat even though Str8 looked pretty unstoppable.
They're not eliminated, they're just in the losers bracket where they'll probably have to face triggers down. Oh yeah mohican how about triggers?
I hope someone puts Final Boss away for good, hopefully TD. FB is still an amazing team, but I just don't want to see them win yet another tournament. I'd like to see Str8 Rippin and Team Classic in the championship bracket.
Thats probably going to be the the winners bracket final. I'll be rooting for TC in that on, Fear is probably my favorite player to watch right up there with neighbor and strongside.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I love to watch Legend play, he's such a smart player it is just amazing to watch. I'll definitely be cheering on TC.
instinct just beat classic. We have a Str8 Instinct Winners Bracket final, I'm definitely thinking that Str8 will be in the championship, probably against FB. EDIT: WTF, nvm Final boss just got eliminated I thought the series was over already.
Dang... I guess I'll be cheering for Str8 Rippin now. That's extremely disappointing. I thought TC would have a great shot at winning the tournament, especially now that FB is eliminated?
They can't win, all they have is a consolation match now. I just hope instinct doesn't win, I'm not a fan of them.
