Did anyone else notice the new maps on bungie favorites? I seriously think anyone on this site could forge better maps than those. They don't use interlocking or any other technique that is used here. Why does bungie put maps like those as their favorites when clearly there are better maps out there? I wouldn't mind it if those maps had good gameplay but no, they have way too many powerful weapons and aren't that fun to play on.
Wrong forum. Anyway, groups choose them not Bungie. I'm sick of you little kiddies saying that a map without interlocking doesn't deserve favorites.
i haven't gotten on live in a while, but what site does the maps say they're from, because they should be from a single community site
First you guys whine about how Bungie Favorites is flawed since it only depends on Downloads, and then now you complain how the popularity is based on what the chosen community sites suggest? Jeez. No wonder Bungie.Net is so depressing. Here''s the deal. We had our chance to shine, and now we have to give other sites their turn.
exactly theres soo much awsome on forgehub that they would just rename it 'forgehub favorites' if every map put on there was a decent forgehub map so nuh uh
Uh, Nemi, I don't think that we've had our turn yet, it was Running Riot's turn when TDF and rusty got all their stuff up. i may be wrong though.
First of all I'm not sure why you decided to insult me because of my opinions. Second of all I never even said a map without interlocking doesn't deserve favorites. If the maps had a good layout and weapon placement, I would have no problem with them getting favorited. It didn't say in any of the descripitons, and for some of the descriptions they even had the generic foundry description. I'm not whining because my maps aren't on there, I don't feel that my maps even deserve to be on there. I feel that some of the really good forgers on this site deserve a bungie favorite slot way more than the maps that you download and immidiatly regret downloading. Anyways from the points I've heard, I understand why they would be favorited but I still don't find it to be the best system. Bungie Favorites should be a place to dl the select supurb maps that won't dissapoint you, and from the latest bungie favorites, really disappointing me when I downloaded them. I thought they were going to be really cool new maps that I'd never seen before but they were just a big dissappointment.
word. the only time i think that interlocking is truly needed is when it affects gameplay or when your making a map specifically to be aesthetic. i try to interlock in places where it's necessary, but i have plenty of great maps that don't use one bit of the forge techniques used here.
There was a time when the entire Bungie Favorites listing was Forge Hub content. Whether or not that was part of the community favorites program is unknown to me, but that seems to be the most logical answer.
that was just because a good deal of our members are members over at running riot, FH haws not had BF yet.
the racetracks were pretty cool but yeah these aren't amazing but they aren't completely terrible. Their screenshots kick the crap out of everyone elses though
i know i was thinking that 2 i dl'ed storm off favs and it was ok n all but it was the easiest map to get out off, ther was only 1 wall layer and some places had pallets or junk so its like asking u 2, but dont get me wrong about the screenshots in bfavs they r better than ever the gargoyle 1 is amazing
i coulnt agree more apart from some great screenshots the maps from the last 2 weeks have been lame compared to some of the featured maps here
