This is my first map so if something isn't working, please tell me. Elkayar is a small, asymmetrical map that is set up for FFA up to 8 people and team slayer up to 7v7. It uses geo-merging and interlocking and the main power weapon is a sniper with a 120s respawn time. Please rate and comment. screenshots DOWNLOAD
Ive got to say for a first map this is pretty good. There is plenty of space and not to messy. Clean post, clean interlocking...its great! 1ST POST!
Nicely made map here matt. Lets start small and unimportant - The walls the walls to stop people jumping out look very nice im really a big fan of fencebox wall in the centre of all walls so you please me there GJ. Next your layout - The layout is very original quite complex so it seems from your screenshots I'm so impressed this is your first map, A lot of hard effort has gone into this and its time well spent. It seems you have read other peoples threads seen the pros of forge and the cons and exploited them fully Interlocking - Is good not the very best I've seen but there is some truly amazing people out there so yet again another success. Merging - Gah I hate merging. Your merging seems to be quite up to scratch except the 2nd Picture there is a wonky box but I honestly am no critic I cant interlock open boxes for the life of me... Lastly but certainly not least your post. Every about this MAP is awesome quite frankly however we get to the post and its kinda less effort involved you should add weapon lists make it look fancy add a nice description or summary of how you made it. These things attract people to download its nice to know how much effort has gone into things without looking at screenshots. Overall a better then average map and for your first its spectacular

I have to say, this does not look like a first map at all, it looks like youve made 100s of maps before this, it looks expertly made and looks like a fun competition map. 5/5
Wow, excellent map! must have taken you weeks to do this with all the interlocking! (I understand in the process of making a map...) I also noticed we have the exact same armor permutations! So you've got a great taste in armor, haha! But thats besides the point, did an excellent job posting so you avoided most of the haters, which is good, many first posts get hated on a lot... I hope my first one will work out as nicely as yours did! Well all together I'll attempt on playing it later, but my fileshare is pretty much full... I'll probably end up clearing things out anyway. Good Job, and great first map! You've got nowhere to go but up from here!
There is absolutely NO WAY that this is your first map ever. Seriously. U meant first map posted on Forgehub mayhaps? lol jk. My first map was High Ground with a random Scorpion on the bridge thingy that goes over the gate to the base, as well as a warthog floating over every respawn point (yes they fell on ppl). If this is truly your first map, then you, my friend, have emerged as the new Messiah of God/Bungie's Will.
all i can say is WHOAH!! This map is possibly the neatest map i have ever seen :O and i've seen neat. If this is really a first map you must have spent ages going through forging 101 --- Your forging future looks promising, i'll be keeping an eye on your posts
