    Parking Garage

Hey guys. This is my seconds aesthetic map on Forge Hub, so I hope that you'll stay interested with my maps later on. For anybody who isn't interested in buildings, you might want to decide to leave (but I can't force you to.) Before you guys scroll right to the pictures (like I do), think about this simple question. What happens to concrete/rock after a few hundred years of weather?

    Background-
So we all know what a parking garage is right? Those multi-story buildings that are next to malls or airports so people can park. Well, this isn't just your ordinary parking garage. The CQ Mall used to be the highlight of Spartan City. It had everything a person could ask for in a small area. Next to the mall was the biggest parking garage Spartan City had. Once the Human-Covenant War started, the malls and stores closed since people started being drafted for the military. This garage has stood the test of time, but it's end is near.

Desintegrating concrete, and crumbling walls is expected from hundreds of years of weathering. A demolitions team has been scheduled to tear down the parking garage. With a new threat arising from the earth, humanity must find refuge. This old and abandoned parking garage may be just the refuge that the people of Spartan City are looking for, until help can arrive, atleast.

Before anybody starts with the flaming of anything along the lines of "This looks like sh*t. You suck at forging," this was the intentional way to show an old/abandoned garage with pieces of the second floor that crumbled away. And yes, unlike my other aesthetic map, this one has interlocking that is more visible (I know there will be somebody who will get on my back about it.) If this doesn't seem like a map that you wouldn't be interested, then please just leave a comment. I'm not looking for many downloads, but looking on how I can keep improving on my forging skills.

Okay may i be the first to tell you that it is totally different but i am not sure of the map i personally don't like it and i think it could be upgraded, you could build it better and it doesn't make any sence Also finally the demolition Trucks what are they ment to be cause i am confused but that is my verdict.

    TIPS:

Give a desciption on the map ok so then we know what it is for because i was confused.
You should try some interlocking and and more detail to this map ok

I don't really like this. It entirely looks too simple, and too quickly made. Try harder on your next map.

I know that the roof is made poorly because you said that you made it to look "weathered from hundreds of years of use"

    2/5 (at least you tried)

Constructive criticism people, none of this 'I can do this under an hour' or 'try harder next time'. Give the guy a break.

    Now for my advice:

The interlocking is good, but not nearly enough. Have some walls popping from the floor, to add the destroyed feel. Just more interlocking in general is a good idea.

Possibly some more obstacles like cones, barrels, etc. Make it look and feel like a dilapidated area, like time forgot it.

I'm glad to see you have a background story to this, it gives maps a better feel to it. Try expanding it, or making it longer for added effect.

This could easily become an excellent map. If you need any help forging on it, send me a message.

I agree, the roof as said looks like it is supposed to look delapadated and broken but actually looks poorly made/forged. This could've been done a lot better, the Parking Lot idea has potential though.

I hope you guys like it better now. I added and rearranged objects to give it a better touch that it's been standing against time and is now ready to be taken down.

The more detail you add, the better the authenticity you get.
